For some reason I keep seeking alone time right now while he’s at home. It’s like I don’t want to be in the room with him and I’m not sure why. I been there all the other time why not now?
Does it matter why? How about going with "What do you want me to do, Lord?"

Don't worry so much about feelings or reasons. They'll come whether you want them to or not.

Rest in God's loving arms. He is the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. Bring all to Him.

Sweet girl, You have done such a good job of helping your dad - devoted and loving. Having been there with my husband, we all think we could have done better. Yet we just are not perfect caregivers - and we do not have the power to hold back death for anyone. We only have the power to love them through it. And then love them some more.

Remember that your voice of reassurance that Jesus is beside him and will help him through this time, and the touch of love through your hands are exactly what he needs now. He also needs to hear that you will be okay.

A verse that ministered to me when my husband died was this one: Ps. 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His faithful ones."

Now, place your right hand on your left shoulder, and your left hand on your right shoulder and squeeze. A hug! Know it is from all of us here.

Aw hon I so feel for you and your family.

You’ve been so faithful and served your
family so well in this. You and your mum
have been there for him, served him, shown
how much you love and care for him.

For your dad, true life starts now.

Dont be hard on yourself, give yourself
time. Know that you have been a good
daughter and God loves you.
