The rise of violence in America - Endtimes

There is a big difference between God prophesying about American specifically, and some passages of Scripture describing situations that may be likened to the current situation in America. The latter is a result of human (sin) nature and the progress of God's timetable. It is not proof that God wrote about America in Scripture.

God's physical promise to Abraham:
Gen. 22:17, 18 "That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice."

God's physical promise to Rebekah:
Gen. 24:60 "And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them."

It was during the latter 18th century, when Britain rose to world dominance, with their navy controlling most of the seaways. The United States rose to a world power after the war with Spain, circa 1898. What other countries controlled the world’s sea gates: Suez, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Africa’s horn, the Falklands, Panama Canal, Puerto Rico and Guam.

There's absolutely no reason why churches cannot request police protection while they have their meetings. At the same time, they can also take concrete steps to ensure the safety and security of their members during worship. In fact, given the many incidents of attacks on worshipers, every church should have already designed a plan and a protocol.

First thing to figure through is "is the Israel that rose up in 1948 of God and came down from Heaven or did man set it up and call it Israel and the man of sin about to rise?"...

If you wound a deer and your tracking it one hunter will see a drop of blood(he stands their until the other hunter comes to it). Then when he's there at the evidence the other the hunter will find the next drop and the other hunter will move up to it. This goes on and on until they find the deer and sometimes the deer might jump up to run. If the two hunters did not decide who would shoot and who would not then both will aim at the deer and follow it and fire. If that aim site is between the two hunters they will fire at each other.

If a Church appoints 8 shooters and scatters them from the back pews to the front and someone burst in and goes up the isle and they fire at him they will all be shooting at each other...

First off, nowhere does this question include the United States...

Secondly, the scriptures indicate that things will get bad enough that God has shortened the time of suffering for the believers.

Matthew 24:22
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Mark 13:20
And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

The verses proceeding Matt 24:24 and Mark 13:20 speak of GREAT AFFLICTION like never seen before!!

Here the Bible is speaking about believers and true followers of Christ in the LAST DAYS. So, it does not matter if you live in USA, Canada, Mexico, Spain, Russia, Middle East, anywhere including Israel...scriptures are clear that GREAT AFFLICTION like never seen before is coming!!

But to add police to churches is kind of removing the martyr syndrome. And maybe you are meant to die as a martyr!!

Living in Spain, and having experienced being in many countries, I have witnessed first-hand how people in each tend to thing everything in the Word is about just them, and to some degree this is true, but God has but one Banner, Jesus Christ, and all the banners of the nations belong to God…..

When thinkig of God's love, always think in terms of all peoples.

Just because a man wants to kill me to test my faith or the lack of it, doesn't give him the right to. There are laws against that. Just as I would try and stop him, I would want to stop the one entering a church to do mass killings.

What a terrorist like that wants first of all is 'gun free zones'. Which translates to him, 'easy prey'. I have known of churches here where the pastor even carries.

I am a Christian, not a pacifist. I don't worry about people's attitude of me concerning a lack of faith for defending myself. The Christians who founded this country would never have done it with a pacifist attitude. It took guns and Bibles.

In other words, an idiot with a gun who steps in the Church and murders a bunch of people does not create martyrs. He created victims.

Wars and rumors of wars, speaks of violence. Chaos, which ensues with the masses all following our own desires, being lovers of self. Violence dwells in chaos. I mean He is the God of order. Plus we know that with love as we are called needs no law. We are NOT loving like we are suppose to, hence that thou shalt not kill need be applied as the nations populations grow with hardened hearts also growing.

Well thank you. I know as a female, I seek to be meek, more of a pacifist. I don't want to have the mindset you possess or the gun power. BUT... I appreciate that there are christian soldiers out there protecting others. So I hope you Brother, don't judge those of us not suited for that which you are.

That's fine...in that you are doing as you feel God wants you to do. The last thing I would want to do is influence someone to do what they think is wrong before God.

I do hate to hear you say you don't want the gun power. I believe every woman in this country should have a gun, at least in their home. We live in a violent society. I have watched so many true life 'justice' shows where the woman would have made it if she just had a gun. And, where they did make it because they did have a gun. If a wrong is taking place and you call 911, it will probably be at least 20 minutes before anyone gets there.

I like meek also, but not so much a pacifist. Moses was the meekest man on earth. (Num. 12:3) But he killed an Egyptian who was assaulting a Hebrew. (Ex. 2:11-12) Of course he could get too angry as he did when he shouted at the Israelites and smote the Rock twice, contrary to what God said. I liken meekness to teachableness and power under control. Not an absence of power.

So, no, I am not speaking as a judge, but I certainly like to encourage.

Yes. If someone broke into your home and was threatning your family, the gun gives you a chance. Even then, you trust God to wake you up in time, or to hear the break in, to be able to get to your gun, to make your aim sure. We do not leave God out of the picture just because we have a gun.
