Peter when Jesus asked him three times, do you love me. Did you know Jesus used two different words, having two different meanings, yet translated with one English word which has a variety of meanings?

people,go to the Greek all the time. Because the English language itself is flawed,

but you would rather support water baptismal regeneration that fight it, and that’s ok, do what you wish
Your supporting the idea that we can't trust the bible .

There's no water mentioned in the book of Romans.
Correct. it is spirit baptism, the same spirit baptism the disciples were baptised with, the Jews of acts 28 was baptized with before they were baptized in water and Cornelius and his house was baptized with before they were baptized in water,

remission of all sin occures at spirit baptism. Only the spirit can baptize us unto Christ and his death where our sins are washed away, no priest and no body of water can do this

I can,

I just know there are areas which are confusing so we have to dig deeper.

nothing wrong with that

like I said, for years I could not respond to acts 2 or James 2 until I finally did some deeper study to,find out neither of the, say what many think they said,

peter never told them to be baptized to recieve the gift,

and James never said anyone can lost salvation if they stop doing works. Hence we have to be justified by works

don't forget the soap for the washing away of sins

hence in no way was the gift of the spirit a result of being water baptized
certainly not. if that is what some folks are saying, they are adding to scripture and leading others astray

Nah

when I first read that in the Greek, it opened up Gods love so much deeper for me, because I realised even though Peter could not tell Jesus he agape loved him. Jesus still told him to,go,feed his sheep,

now that’s something we will never see in the English text, ever!

Thats ok. He wrote the bible in greek. Not english for a reason. Your english text is a translation.

then why do you do that very thing?
I am aware that the OT was written in Hebrew and the NT in Greek. You missed my point, I said, "God didn't expect people to learn Greek or Hebrew." Since God is a just God He would have caused men to record exactly what He meant to convey from Hebrew or Greek into English or any other bible translation for that matter. Where we spend eternity depends on it.

Since I am a English speaking person I take the entire Bible for what it states in English. I believe Acts 2:38-39 to be God's word and it says what it says. Sins are washed away when a person is water baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. The account of Paul's water baptism speaks to this truth as well. (Acts 22:14-16)

Acts 8 . Could you explain this please.
This also doesn't jive with your rigid ' God must always do everything precisely in the same way every time ' Theology .
4¶Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

15Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:

16(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

17Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

18¶And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,

I cant even

don't mind me. I just find your bias and your false dichotomy somewhat amusing

silly Paul. he thought he was writing to people who understood the basics

we don't see the name of Jesus in Genesis, so does that mean He was not there?

please continue on. always good for a chuckle you are

Between your self and Wansvic your both demonstrating my points and the Op beautifully. Your both commiting the exact error I explained in the Op .

OT was written in more than just hebrew

You missed my point, I said, "God didn't expect people to learn Greek or Hebrew." Since God is a just God He would have caused men to record exactly what He meant to convey from Hebrew or Greek into English or any other bible translation for that matter. Where we spend eternity depends on it.
that’s a good point but it does not prove a point

God knew the Bible would be translated in English and other languages, that’s why he made sure we have at least copies of the Greek hebrew text so we can study to shew ourselves approved,

remember, only the origional text was inspired, the English text is just a translation. If the Greek and English do not jive, we must look to the Greek for answers,

Since I am a English speaking person I take the entire Bible for what it states in English. I believe Acts 2:38-39 to be God's word and it says what it says. yet the Greek, does not say this

so it does not matter what the English says, you basing your whole eternity on a translation. Again, good luck with that,

you know. when you see Jesus, he is not going to say, well yeah the English Bible did say that so I will have to let you in, he will tell you he told you to study to,show yourself approved and he gave you all these resources to co firm what the translators said is what the origional writers said, hence you have no excuse, non of us do,

Can you explain to me where peter told those people to repent be baptized and have them lay their hands on them to recieve the HS?
if you can’t. Then you have not proven a different gospel message,

Ridiculing God's word???? Guess you are not familiar with Ananias' instructions to the Apostle Paul's about his water baptism. (Acts 22:14-16) Water baptism has nothing to do with cleaning off natural dirt/sins. Man's obedience to GOD'S command prompts a spiritual reality.

This is just straight out of the ' Greek Game , bible correctors, hand book ' .
" Yes , most translations say .... , but in the greek , and I know the greek ,you see and what you mere mortals don't know is that I have the real ,authentic meaning, the deep ,rich meaning that I know and you don't know, so you must listen to me to tell you what the bible REALLY means "
