hi!
Cults seem to always go to sex.
Eph 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Eph 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Be Blessed!!!

Hey, good afternoon!

Gen 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:

What do this mean to you?

Be blessed!
I think this is a really important verse.

Seth, who of course is in Jesus’s lineage, and every other human ever born, is born in the likeness of FALLEN Adam. In a spiritual sense.

No one is a child of God until they are born again.

Here is some:

Genesis 2:16
the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat"

according to your perverse interpretation doesn't this means God told Adam to have intercourse with all the trees in the garden?
God told Adam he could eat from every tree then There comes the tree of the knowledge of good and evil have you ever heard of a tree named the tree of good and evil, then you have the tree of life, There is no "tree of life" Jesus is the tree of life God is fair what he gives one side he gives the other so are you sure that. This next part comes from the Hebrew university
Home » Genesis – בְּרֵאשִׁית » Advice For Life –The Hebrew Meaning Of The Biblical Tree Of Life
ADVICE FOR LIFE –THE HEBREW MEANING OF THE BIBLICAL TREE OF LIFE

The Bible mentions by name TWO trees that were planted in the Garden of Eden:
“The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.” (Genesis 2:9)
The first tree is ‘the tree of life’ which appears in the original Hebrew as ‘Etz Ha-Cha’yim’ {עץ החיים} and the second is known in Hebrew as ‘Etz Ha-Da’at.’ {עץ הדעת}
The original Hebrew syntax of this verse suggests that the two trees are in fact opposites – or at least, one stands in contrast to the other.
In other words, from the Hebrew syntax of this verse, one can learn that man had to choose between living eternal life OR receiving the gift of knowledge. To live for all eternity and to possess the gift of knowledge does not
appear to be a contradiction at all – so why it is presented as a conflict between two opposite things?
Well, according to one very interesting interpretation, the perspective should be applied for ALL mankind – because with great positive knowledge (which can make our lives better) comes also negative destructive knowledge which can easily damage it.
When man chose ‘knowledge’ he ultimately ruined his chances for having eternal life because of what is attached to the ‘knowledge.’

Here is an interesting anecdote before we conclude this post. The original Hebrew word for ‘tree’ is ‘Etz’ {עץ} which is spelled and pronounced almost identically as the Hebrew word ‘Etzah’ {עצה} – which means ‘advice.’
When one reads this part in the original Hebrew, one cannot ignore the double meaning of the Hebrew word ‘Etz’ which sounds like both ‘tree’ and ‘advice.’ The ‘tree of life’ and ‘the tree of the knowledge of good and evil’ sounds also very much like ‘the advice of life’ and ‘the advice of knowledge of good and evil.’
Are you sure it was a real tree, or like the tree of life is it something else

I think this is a really important verse.

No one is a child of God until they are born again.
So from Adan to Noaah there were no children of God what about Enoch God took him, the list could go on and on but Jesus had not come to die for us yet so what about them?
The Parable of the Tares Explained
36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.”
37 He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. 39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. 40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. 41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, 42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
These are not my words they are the teachings of Jesus straight from the Masters mouth.
Strong's #4690: sperma (pronounced sper'-mah)
from 4687; something sown, i.e. seed (including the male "sperm"); by implication, offspring; specially, a remnant (figuratively, as if kept over for planting):--issue, seed.
The Son of man sows the good seed, the field is the world, the good seed(wheat) are the sons of the kingdom, the tares are the sons of the wicked one, The enemy that sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, the reapers are the angles, the tares are gathered and burned in the fire. So will it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
I am almost willing to bet that where it is written 2 men were working in the field one was take and one was left. You want to be the one taken, I want to be the one left the working in the field till Jesus comes. No rapture that is what this parable says

Are you sure it was a real tree, or like the tree of life is it something else

is this you confirming that you think Adam was supposed to have sex with everyone & everything?
sex with Satan was the only taboo but commanded to have sex with absolutely anything else whether it moved or not?

the Lord God commanded the man, saying,
Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat"
(Genesis 2:16)
do you interpret everything as sexual euphemisms?
i would see that as a problem. personally.
like, a giant bright red flag.

Ok lets say it was not a fig, people seem not to believe what it says in the Bible, even though at some point Jesus cursed the fig tree and some biblical characters got in trouble for eating 'naughty figs' (Jeramiah 24:2)

what about tomato

People used to believe it was a poisonous type of apple. Though it doesnt grow on a tree, though a tamarillo or tree tomato does.

I will say you can definitely rule out olive.

While apple trees could grow in the fertile crescent it is more likely a warm climate type fruit since adam and eve were walking round with no clothes on, they didnt seem to feel any cold.

If you are trying to picture just what the tree was you need to do some botantical sleuthing.

Otherwise, let your imagination run wild with what exactly the forbidden fruit was. If it was chocolate or cacao bean it might make a but more sense however the cacao tree originates in mesoamerica not the mesopotamia where Eden apparently was. Thn you need to figure out how it got there...and had it been 'forbidden'?

The only fruit I know where there are actual laws forbidding it is durian...since it smells so bad

There is much scriptural evidence that the fruit was of the vine tree. Once eaten, man sinned, was corrupted and now knows good and evil. Man’s fallen condition, not the fruit itself, gave this knowledge.
That sounds like a catch-22. Adam did not sin until he ate of the fruit, but he also was not corrupted until he ate of the fruit. How could he sin before he sinned, or be corrupted before he was corrupted?

And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Verse8. God plants a garden for the man He formed. Verse 9. Out of the ground God makes every tree, the is good to look at and good for food end of thought. The tree of life also was in the midst of the garden and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
1.) To unite closely connected sentences
Semicolons are used to unite sentences that have equal weight and importance.
It’s important to note that this is different from using a period. A period is used to end a sentence. A semicolon joins two independent thoughts that are closely related.
A semicolon is only used to join sentences when the independent clauses are of equal importance, length, and weight.
Can you show me a tree of life or the fruit of a tree of life or a tree of the; or the tree of the knowledge of good and evil or the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Revelation 2:7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God.’
Revelation 22:1&2 Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Revelation 22:14&15Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.
Does this sound like a tree you can go and buy from the garden center?

Genesis 3:24 He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life. I did not put this verse with the others because it is different. Notice the tree of life is in the garden of Eden but protected so no one can get to it till God grants them the right to. Revelation 2:7. Nothing is said about the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. That is because Satan, sin ect are here today, we have access to them any time we choose.
No way no how are they an ordinary type of tree that just grows in a garden, grove, or along the side of the road.

until he ate of the fruit. How could he sin before he sinned, or be corrupted before he was corrupted?
Genesis 3:6
When the woman saw that the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eyes,
and that it was desirable for obtaining wisdom, she took the fruit and ate it.
She also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate it.

There is a connection between that ^ verse, and this verse:

For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes,
and the pride of life—is not from the Father but from the world. 1 John 2:16

Adam and Eve were of the natural world. Scripture attests that:

However, the spiritual was not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. 1 Cor 15:46

The first man (Adam) was of the dust of the earth, the second man (Jesus) from heaven.

Desires of the flesh war against the soul.

Clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make
no provision for the desires of the flesh. Romans 13:14

Perhaps Adam sinned in just desiring what was offered in eating the forbidden fruit,
in the same way Jesus said lust was committing adultery and hatred commits murder.

Of course we are not told, and where there is no law, sin is not counted against. Still:

To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given.

I beg to differ. Adam ate the forbidden fruit because he caved in under the pressure from Eve. There were countless cases of the leader giving up on principle under the pressure from the congregation. A good example is Samson and Delilah. This is Satan's strategy, he doesn't come to you directly in a pitch fork and a red skinny suit, instead he uses your friends, family, influencers, people you usually trust to put peer pressure on you. Satan knew how much Adam loved Eve, so he used Eve to get to Adam. He got emotionally blackmailed, then using his reason and logic, seeing Eve taking a bite and still alive and kicking, eventually he yielded to the temptation.

I see that being put forth as an argument by others, also, and Scripture does say that Adam listened
to his wife. This does not eliminate the possibility that Adam desired for himself what was promised.

No, it is not an apple. The proper name is the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. People simply say apple to be brief and because of pop culture. Yes, though, it is an actual fruit from an actual tree, it is not an innuendo.

Hey there..

I have , this particular portion in Job 38 , speaks of The Creation, no "man" was there when Yahweh Elohim did these things.
God Bless!!
How is this reconciled to Hebrews 1:5
For to which of the angels did God ever say:

“You are My Son;

today I have become Your Father”

and I John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Eve wasn't lying when she answered, "the serpent beguiled me," as scripture confirms she was deceived, and Adam wasn't. He wanted to eat from the tree, and used her for an excuse when he was called out on it, i.e. he chose the lie and continued with it.

Good Morning!
How is this reconciled to Hebrews 1:5
For to which of the angels did God ever say:

today I have become Your Father”

and I John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Heb 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

Hebrews 1 is referring to Yeshua Hamashia The Only Begotten Son of God

John refers to believers in Yeshua Hamashia The Only Begotten Son of God, we are NOW sons of God because of the work on the cross...
But not before that.

As in the previous post, the first mention of the "sons of God" was in Job.

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

These are not men, this is an angelic host.

God Bless!
