Dear friend, Jesus Christ said, "I and the Father are one". He did not say, "I AM the Father". He said He is the Only-begotten Son (John 3:16). Confusing the Father with the Son is the ancient heresy of Sabellianism. If the Father is the Father, the Son is the Father, and the Holy Spirit is the Father, that is "three Fathers" and three gods. It's paganism/polytheism to say that Jesus Christ is the Father. That verse in Isaiah says His name shall be called Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. It does not say He is the Everlasting Father. It says, "For unto us a SON is born ...." Not a Father is born. The Father cannot be born. The Holy Spirit cannot be born. Only God the Son can be born.
He is true God and true man, God from God.
Here is the truth. I committed no blasphemy in teaching the Holy Trinity. Matthew 28:19 teaches the Holy Trinity.
Here is the truth. Rejecting these words would mean you don't understand what the Bible means!
"THE HOLY TRINITY" "The Holy Trinity is revealed both in the Old Testament and in the New Testament. In the Old Testament, the Trinity is revealed in subtle ways; in the New Testament, the Trinity is revealed fully and plainly, beginning at the Baptism of our Lord.
"The Holy Trinity is one God in three Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These Persons are distinct, but not separate, and are not three gods. They are One God because They are one in essence or nature. The Father is the unbegotten Fountainhead of Deity. The Son is eternally begotten of the Father (John 1:18, John 3:16, John 16:28). The Holy Spirit is the Helper [Comforter] (John 14:16) and Spirit of Truth (John 14:17; John 16:13), Who proceeds from the Father (John 15:26)". OSB Orthodox Study Bible. page 4.
