look at the ROOT for each Commandment.
You will find the answer to your question there.

the root for all the commandments in the marriage covenant Law with Israel made at Sinai are two obscure bylaws in Deuteronomy 6 and Leviticus 19.

they are the foundation of the Law, not the 10 commandments.

both my anxiety and the Galatians willingness to put themselves under the Law by accepting circumcision are violations of the Shema, to love the LORD with all our being. but neither violate the decalogue.

thus what Christ said -- that all the commandments hang on love for God and our neighbor -- is verified; the 10 commandments are neither a summary nor the basis of the Law. they are derived from the actual basis of all the commandments in the marriage covenant of the nation Israel, which is love.

God even simplified them down to TWO, and PEOPLE, still hate the fact it is a COMMAND!...............................................post #266

No Anxiety when the entire Law and Commands come down to LOVE GOD, Love Your Neighbors.

if you LOVE GOD, you won't break the LAWS/Commands that were in place for not Loving God.
if you LOVE your Neighbor, you won't break the LAWS/Commands that were in place for not Loving your Neighbors.
^
Every LAW/COMMAND fall into these 2.

so NO ONE, should ever have anxiety over OBEYING these 2 COMMANDS.

nor have Anxiety over OBEYING the COMMANDS to Go Preach/Make Disciples/Baptize.

imagine for 1 moment, had EVERY Person, claiming to Follow God, OBEYED ^ those 3 Commands.

Literally, HALF the World would be Saved.

but instead, we watch our NEIGHBORS go to a Burning Hell and some Doctrines make them feel JUSTIFIED for doing so.

it won't happen, but, what if God gave to US, what we have given to OTHERS [since we failed to WARN them of Jesus Christ] + FELT JUSTIFIED by NOT Sharing God to them because they probably are the ones WHO deserve HELL [predestination]?

hey ~ I know what you are saying here, but if I might just reword this for the sake of those who just cannot seem to understand?

Paul was against those who wanted to return to things concerned with the law and the point he made, was that Christ FULFILLED all the obligations once and for all.

So he understood the law full well but knew Jesus had made a better way.

Thanks...don't mean to step on toes
yes you are stepping on people's toes. Other are also capable or reading scripture and understand it. Yes we have to follow the commandments because CHRIST said so period. Christ made it possible for us to have eternal life he is the way do you understand this simple fact? you like many others here do not believe in Christ since you cannot follow this simple command;

John 14:15.

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

you know, you don't even KNOW the LAW.
if you really understood the LAW
it now applies in a Spiritual Realm.

Look at the LAWS within the LAW.
now, Compare each single Law to how we now see it being APPLIED in the New Covenant.

These LAWS never went away, they became something Beneficial to every Follower of Jesus Christ.

Most don't know that, because, they're hung up over the word LAW or COMMAND.

i mean, GET OVER IT, IT IS WHAT IT IS, whether you like it or not!
You don't have to receive what I shared, but you are kidding yourself if you believe you are keeping the law apart from Christ. First, you can do nothing apart from Him. Second, you don't know everything that is entailed in keeping every commandment. Even if you did, you would have to be actively keeping each one continuously and to the uttermost. You don't possess that ability. Jesus does. Walk in Him and He will keep the law in and through you. Walk in your own strength and sin. It's the same for everyone.

or, will God give to them what they have given to Others?

20. Therefore by their fruit you will know them.
21. It is not everyone that says to me, 'My Lord, my Lord'', who enters the Kingdom of Heaven, but whoever does the will of my Father who is in Heaven.
22. Many will say to me in that day, 'My Lord, my Lord, have we not prophesied in your name, and in your name have cast out demons, and have done many mighty works in your name?'
23. And then I will confess to them, 'I have never known you, remove yourselves far from me, you workers of evil.'

see, you don't really understand a thing i said.
i said, Study the LAWS and SEE how they now work in a Spiritual Way in the New Covenant.

it's not Following a LAW to know, ok, God, is giving me this Benefit.
so, where in the LAWS, does this [benefit] exist at in its FORMER SELF.
and when you find this LAW, you also find the ROOT to your Benefit [other than God]

I see you took that the wrong way. LOL!...oh wait...I see you are also a commandment follower.

So myself and many others here do not follow Christ according to you. But you do because you are a commandment keeper

the irony.....no worries. I did not realize who I was writing to. tootles

this is how you know the "difference" between who really has DEEP Knowledge in GOD's WORD and who has deep info from their Doctrines.

SO glad we could all come to an understanding that that Law was given until Christ Jesus showed up and that we, who are alive today (much like Abraham and the children of promise), were never under the Law.

Asking mods to close this thread since we're all in unison.
great

then we could have closing arguments

i never said, Obey the LAW, but every post towards me is as if I "did" say that.

Look, at the Rebellion, for just thinking i said something like that?

throw the LAW out, and the sharks come out hunting.

and it's not even anywhere close to what i said.

The spiritual aspect of the law is what God always had in view. Every law consists in some aspect of Christ's work and ministry. This is what makes Christ the end of the law for us.
For a Jew to offer a sacrifice to God void of the recognition that it pointed to his need of a Savior, is to sacrifice in vain. Obedience is our sacrifice. For us to obey apart from Christ is to obey in vain.
I do understand the spiritual aspect of the law. I think you misapply it.
