Strange what will Jesus answer if he was sitting here in my body and typing to you? Would He say,,, Yes I sin so you can feel better? Or would He perhaps say... Repent and be baptised...

Easy Strange Jesus just showed you in John 17.... HE IS IN US that is what KEEPS Him perfect... You are not yourself anymore when you are IN CHRIST becasue you DIED!!! When you die, you are DEAD! And Jesus said ... For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

Lose your sinful life by STOP SINNING and you will save in a HOLY PERFECT LIFE THAT LASTS EVERLASTING LIFE... The flesh might go to sleep, but the soul and spirit, is you...The flesh is just a vessel...
Why dont YOU stop sinning you HYPOCRITE!

G'night! :)

Oh...but that was Jesus' own personal prayer. I don't know about the others, but I'm pretty sure that was to be one with God wasn't meant to be imitated...

The differance is also... Jesus prayed for me in this.... I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one;
I know SOON all these people you like to label where will be made ONE with Jesus, and they will be AS PERFECT as Him right here on earth.. Because as God is we will be like HIM in this World!

Praise the MIGHTY SALVATION OF GOD! AMEN!
That was JESUS' prayer...are you saying we are to attain the same thing?

lil imagine Jesus is in you FULLY, and you are in HIM FULLY ... where is sin in that picture?
That is exactly what Jesus asked the Father to do for lil and Cobus and strange and all who wants to be IN HIM... And he said, He cannot sin and in Him is no sin... So how is sin going to get in that REUNIION?

Seriously...if you're saying you can be Jesus, you might as well say you're the Christ, too!

Anyone who fight so hard against the righteousness of the believer has not submitted themselves to the Lordship or leadership of Christ.
You don't even know what the "righteousness of the believer" is.

*hint* ......it has nothing to do with us.

Fessie, the righteousness of a believer is the SAME righteousness of GOD PERFECT... 1 John 3:
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

All have sinned, past participle, but in Christ it is impossible to be in sin, either you are His righteous or you are not and in sin, it is one or the other but not both. He was snt to take away the sins of this world, how did He fail to do that in you? Why is it that Christ has no power to take away your sin? Is sin mor powerful to you than the Christ that is suposed ot be in you? Christ simply means to be anointed of God, Gods SPirit in you, Christ in you. Who tould you that yuou are a sinner? It sure wasnt Christ for in Him is no sin at all.

God took the penalty of sin away from us.

He did not remove the flesh. The flesh is still here. That is what Paul stated as fact in Romans 7.

Since we still have our flesh. We stiull have a tendancy to sin. God gives us the power not to sin, But at times our flesh is strong and we fail.

No one here is justifying it is ok to sin. We are denying the fact that it is possible to be sinless.

Try listening to what people say, and not be like 4 runner and assume you know.

I have denied being licentious. but he keeps calling me (in so many words) a licentious believer. He is wrong. No one I know in this room believes we can live our life any way we want. We all try to live as Christ lived. We just are not foolish enough to think we will ever be like Christ 100 % of the rest of our lives. Anyone who believes this is in dangerous waters. I have seen many a proud man believe this and fall completely. because it is impossible. and when they realise it, they give up, because they do not believe god is who he says he is, if he was, they would not sin.

Not at all God's word stands on its own. As stated in Jude ''GOD IS ABLE''. you are right if we could become sinless on our own we would not need a savior. However are full and complete sanctification in this life is a work of God's grace. When we receive Salvation through faith in Christ and submit to Him as Lord, God works in us to make us as pure as Jesus is.

Jude wrote to licentious people who turned the grace of God and twisted it to allow themselves to live any way they want. He said quite clearly. God is able. But we still have the flesh. Even though God is able, we sometimes do not allow him to do it.

I know God is able. I just do not always look at things his way. Thats why we ALL still sin. and will till the day we die!

I have done no such thing. And that is not even what legalist do. As I said you do not even know what a legalist is.
I have seen your legalistic gospel since you have been here. Don't deny it.

Legalism is what is says. Using a legalistic system of rules and regulations to gain salvation. If you have to earn salvation by doing ANYTHING, Including obeying god and becoming sinless. or repenting of EVERY sin you teach law.
which is a legalistic approach to God
