There is a Wicca school out here as well...all nonsense. These people are just as stupid as the other relgions. Spells dont work. The majority doesnt. Some do, but not because of true magic. It's just the laws of probability. Some things you wish for simply happen and some dont. Just like praying, the rabbits foot, the four leaf clover, and every other superstition. There are no witches. Are you insane? Have you met anyone with magical powers? I would LOVE to have these powers. Anyone would. That is normal and healthy. Christians, and other religions like to suppress normal human behaviour and call it sin. We are all animals. We all have the same desires. But relgion wants us to repress our needs in the guise of sin.

Witches are stupid. Just as stupid as nuns.

No one needs to commit adultery.
No one needs to fornicate
No one needs to murder (keep anger in their hearts toward someone)
No one needs to steal (or desire something of someone elses in coveting)
No one needs to lie
No one needs to lust
No one needs to curse
No one needs to drink
No one needs ANY of this

Yet people do it like it is a way of life.
I don't speak of what I don't know, but of what I know, and I understand why you couldn't understand, but this is not to you.

Who this is to is those who call themselves Christians, and still allow their children this.

Just to let you know, I'm the mother of five childern. Ages 14 to 30yrs old. They are all very grounded and doing well.
They are very creative and talented. When my oldest three moved out of my home, it was their choice to watch what they
want. Not one of them are lacking in imagination. We did a lot of art projects, and spent lots of time talking about values.
I thank God that my children are all making good choices.

I think that if you have prayed and God has given you peace about a book, movie or a holiday. Then you have opened your heart and mind to God.
We are to have the mind of Christ.

To be honest I believe Jesus would celebrate Halloween so he could minister to sinners. My parents who are pastors pass out tracks during Halloween with the candy. Christians can totallly celebrate any holiday with the mindset of Christ.

Jesus came into this world to minister, not to celebrate Halloween. Jesus has already come to this world, and we have the record of his ministry. Jesus didn't pass out tracks and candy. He passed out healing and the gospel.

You gave that command, but Jesus did not. He said to go out into all the world preaching the gospel and liberty to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind. And gave them power to cast out devils, not to play with them.

To be honest I think there's nothing wrong with fantasy novels such as Harry Potter. It promotes doing good not evil. It promotes friendship and loyalty. It in fact, in a sense, DEMOTES the hunger for power, it DEMOTES betrayal, it DEMOTES greed. And most kids, in their INNOCENCE, enjoy it, have dreams. But ask them why they want to be a wizard?? Is it because they want power? Is it because they want to take over the world and conquer it?? Or is it because "it'd be awesome, and i wanna defeat the baddies?"

It's a kids thing. They get over it.

Yes, of course there are fantatics. Of course there are people in the world who actually believe and practise witch craft. But that doesn't mean that these books promote evil. How does Harry Potter promote EVIL deeds. When a little kid reads Harry Potter what EVIL thoughts does he think? I think innocence and imagination is important in a child.

On the other side of the coin there are also biblical fantatics, and christian terrorists, who believe they're doing what God wants them to do. Just because some people make ridiculous interpretations of the Bible, doesn't mean that the Bible is evil.

action: they "promote" violence

fantasy: they "promote" sorcery

According to GOD We are NOT to try to do EVIL so Good may come of it.

God is not so complicated, he has given his requirements for HIS people.

This is all a work of Satan, trying to get people to see evil as good and good as evil. I am not so surprised to see so called Christians defend it. ''So called.''

The Holy Spirit lets every single Christian know what is approved and what is not, but many people don't want to hear it. They want what the world wants. And they will get the punishment the world gets.

If anyone wants to be Christian, let him follow Jesus, let him OBEY his commands.
