Banana pudding for desert.
Oh, my hubby would love to be adopted as part of your family. lol That's all right up his alley!

@ThereRoseaLamb thank you for those jokes.
Here's another from my people: how many Eastern Orthodox does it take to change a lightbulb? Zero. They all went to the monastery.
I need you in the food game. Still plenty of food to choose from. BTW how do y'all feel about fried apples? Makes your house smell amazing!
I'm a little slow with this game so i apologize.
What are the game rules, you want me to remove one item from your picture in the first post?
I'm afraid i'm not going to be very fun with this game because i don't understand the rules and then i might geek out with some technicality ... but i did enjoy your jokes. lol

Are you suggesting there's something inherently wrong with a sugar and grease fest? What then is a doughnut? Or perhaps you eat your doughnuts with vegetable filling?B: We're keeping B. It's delicious and it adds veggies to what is otherwise a sugar and grease fest.
When I started cutting sugar, I knew pecan (puhcahn, not pee can!) pie was a goner. However, I recently came across a recipe for pecan pie that predates the invention of corn syrup (it has a custard base instead), so there is hope. If anyone's interested, it's in the Tasting History cookbook... I have yet to acquire a copy.Ok I don't even know my answer for this one. This is a hard one. Since desserts are so important during the holidays let's stay with that theme. Eliminate One View attachment 282034
I'm not much for adding salt to everything. I do like caramel though.
Rhubarb is an acquired taste for sure. lol They don't have it here in the south that I have found. Back home it grows wild. Have you tried strawberry/rhubarb pie? It tastes a lot better IMO.
No. I said I'm keeping all the rest of it too.Are you suggesting there's something inherently wrong with a sugar and grease fest? What then is a doughnut? Or perhaps you eat your doughnuts with vegetable filling?![]()
H*rsh*y pot of gold is... Well I won't say what it is. Someone here might like that stuff. No rules really, just a place to have a laugh. You're suppose to eliminate one but I think @Lynx made clear he was taking all the pies. Not sure his opinion on chocolates yet. I remember back home when you went to someone's house during Christmas you better bring the "Pot of Gold". I looked to buy some last year and it's dang near cheaper to actually buy the pot of gold! Wow! I make my own peanut butter balls every year.
I done said my favorite pie is round. I'm taking all these home with me so you won't have to eliminate one.Ok I don't even know my answer for this one. This is a hard one. Since desserts are so important during the holidays let's stay with that theme. Eliminate One View attachment 282034
So long, sea salt caramel. I never understood ye. Why would you want something gritty and salty in your caramel? While we're at it, the gift every party goer takes to their host/hostess home, chocolate. Eliminate One.View attachment 282036
Bye, B. C is little better. My dad was an excellent working chef. He made chocolate pumpkin pie - once. It was disgusting. Even he would not eat it.Ok the BDF and News Forums are making my brain bleed. I want invite our groovy singles to this post, we all know they are the coolest here at CC.With Thanksgiving round the corner, here we go!!
Eliminate One, and tell us why you did. This one is an easy one for me, green bean casserole. Maybe I just haven't had someone good at making it but that's my choice.
