Covenant theology is not about the return of Christ Jesus.
It is the correct and biblical view that all is fulfilled in Christ Jesus.
Covenant theology begins and ends with Christ and all is connected with and to Christ.
The truth is the people of God are defined Christologically not ethnically.... this is repeated over and over again in the NT
The New Testament does not hint at this new reality it actually drives this point right through the heart with a stake of the old covenant boundary markers.
Paul: “Not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel.”
Ephesians: Christ creates one new man, not two parallel peoples.
Peter: Titles once reserved for Israel now belong to the church.
This is not erasure—it is fulfillment. The olive tree is one, and its life is Christ.

Prior to Scofield and Darby this was the position of many churches in the west and Independent Baptist Churches.
Write some leaflets, go on a speaking tour, accompanied by the new Scofield Commentary, the promise of a fake rapture and there it is, the church is adopting a whole new system.
I am sure WWW III will be great.
Your definition of "Covenant theology" is New Testament/New Covenant only. You haven't read enough of the Bible to understand the Old Covenants and the ones that still remain unfulfilled OR that the Old Testament says that God/Jesus will indeed make YET ANOTHER New Covenant with Israel.
This is why it's a HUGE mistake for churches to only teach the New Testament instead of the Bible in its ENTIRETY like Jesus said in Matthew 4:4 and Luke 4:4. Jesus will fulfill ALL that's been WRITTEN, just like He said. You just need to listen to what he's telling you in Luke 24:44 and read the books of Moses, the prophets and the Psalms to know what He meant by that, but you haven't and you obviously refuse to.
