Exactly !! He/She had almost made "friends" in the news forum until I brought up the subject of RT and Israel. Now they cheer anyone they think is against me. One person they didn't even know what the person believed and had to ask them. And that's an annoying thing that happens here at CC. They have a little gang following then people don't want to speak up to them. But as I said, it's the new ones coming in here and reading this false theology and start believing it is true. That is why I have stood against it since I've been here, a long, long time before HeIsHere showed up.

It helps to pray for the protection of the Jews. That's what I do - it's just not visible. I think that's what other people do if they don't speak against these Jew haters.
Also keep in mind that no matter how these Jew haters rant and rave against them that God has it all in control. He will end their ranting and raving against Jews sooner or later. The Jews won't be replaced, but the Jewish believers will be gathered into the fold along with the Gentile believers.

I think God does want you to keep standing up for the Jew, it's just that not everyone else is called to that. But know that there are people praying for the Jews' protection and that God is doing just that and also for you as well!

i didn’t say either way what I said was there’s no indication on any way that I have ever seen that he or any Old Testament person needed to or would be “ born again “ because it’s an an entirely New Testament promise and concept .

Yes every human being has a body of flesh …. And a living spirit . the body dies the spirit returns to god for judgement. This was true from Adam forward but still there’s absolutely no means or doctrine for any of them to be “ born again “ again , I’m open to that scripture or biblical doctrine but haven’t ever myself seen it

In the ot they weren’t baptized into Christ they were baptized into Moses . Under a different covenant . Surely Moses spoke and wrote of Christ many figures like the brazen serpent but the brazen serpent was under the old covenant and when they looked upon it the thing moses had made they lived when they should have died being bitten
This didn’t include them in Christ or atone for thoer sins like jesus death it just was for the time them present a figure , found in thier first covenant of the second to come later
One was made with israel specifically and was broken and became the curse it warned of. The other was promised to them after this happened after they had broken it and lost hope he gave them promises of a new covenant not according to the old which they broke
there are many things in the law to witness of Christ to come later but thier cofenant eas very effective at the time it was present and meant the things it said
Like the day of atonement . It’s not as if the things they performed didn’t work , it was thier behavior of sin and rebellion that causes the defilement and made it ineffective. They had a complete covenant with a mediator a high priest a preisthood a sanctuary a chosen people ect ect
there’s a new one now. The new is where one can be and needs to be born again. I’ve never read a sentance about being born again in the old bit that doesn’t mean it’s not there my friend or that I’m not wrong about it.

They could have the kingdom this way that’s stated in thier covenant

There are two distinct covenant words those of Moses for Israel’s tribes beforehand and those of Christ Jesus for all humanity

The argument was about ot saints being born again . I wasn’t clear how this was an argument that proves they were all born again in the ot …..but totally agree with the scriptures from John and point there he is from everlasting to everlasting the beginning and end first and the last

None of theee things were in the old covenant it was actually veiled purposefully to bring gods promises of a new and better covenant to pass
Are you sure that the woman of Rev.12 becomes the harlot of Rev. 17?
There is much in Rev. 12 that makes me think she is the Hebrew early church.
Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
That would make the chapter a review of the past rather than a prediction of things to come, as it takes us back to the beginning of the New Covenant.
For the main part I agree with Mathew Henry on this chapter.
Clothed with the Sun is like the reference to Jesus in Malachi 4:2 "the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings".
Moon = reflected light of shadows and types, no longer needed when the new covenant "sun" rises, although Mathew Henry did not say that.
12 stars = 12 apostles Dan 12:3.
Dragon = Satan, but his seven heads and ten horns represent Rome, through which Satan operates, and under which Herod serves.
The stars that he casts down to earth represent the angels that serve Satan.
The story begins with some parallels to the time Herod was killing babies, and Mary, Joseph and Jesus are led to Egypt for refuge.
Vs. 7-12 give us an interesting heavenly perspective on the beginning of the Gospel as we read of Satan being cast out of heaven.
then we read of Satan's desperate persecution of the early church.
As this story continues into Ch.13 until Ch. 19 we will hear about the destruction of Jerusalem all over again, but with much more detail.
