Just finished my 3rd workout of the day. I did my lifting this morning, a 30 minute run this afternoon, and then got on the bike tonight/this morning lol. I'm sure I'll be sore tomorrow, but sometimes you just have to go for it.

10 miles? o_O

Dang, kudos to you.

You're young, you can handle it. :p Hey girl, where have you been? :)
Been around :p Classes start today and I'm so not ready.

So, how are the Royals? I haven't watched a game in a couple of weeks, honestly.

The Royals were in a tail spin for a while, but are starting to recover. :)

I had such a all around productive day yesterday, spiritually, intellectually, parentally, and physically. The warm weather and sunshine really does give me a whole 'nother outlook. I have to move south in the next couple of years, once I settle a few more things here in VT.
I ran, and worked out with weights yesterday, and they were both intense efforts.

Squat day yesterday after 2 weeks off being busy doing other things...

The weight was heavier and the technique was not as good making everything seem twice as difficult.

I always wonder how much lifting is in the mind and technique vs. actual raw strength.

Here's to getting back in the routine and getting strong...

Same here G. Did about 8 sets and also lunges. My butt hurts already. Did you ever do "super squats". Doing 20 reps, to absolute failure? So that your teeth even hurt when your finished, and you collapse? I have done them, and they do something to the body, its almost like taking steroids ( I never took them, just using a well known testosterone example here) without actually taking them.

My whole body is sore and I'm walking funny to try to alleviate some of it. Its not really working.

I haven't done super squats but I've done reverse squats, where you start from the down position and push to the up position and end back in the down position.

You don't get that little elastic bounce at the bottom when you do those and it is much more difficult.

I haven't worked out since last week. Excuse me while I find a walk of shame on google maps.

So, I keep injuring my back during my workouts. Not all the time, but there are a few times when it keeps me from working out for a couple of weeks.

Advice?

To the corner, you. I changed my workout routine again. With all the overtime work in the office, I had to cut down my exercise time to 3 times a week. And I did last Tuesday, after an entire day of theory and practical exams (first aiding, CPR and AED). I even wondered why I was so out of it. As a result, the last couple days were harsh. Sore all over! Oh well. No pain no gain!

What workout is injuring your back?

Is it upper back or lower back?

Were you the one who did heavy weights for women Im not saying this is a factor but it is a possibility. If you found this largely to be the reason maybe try push-ups and pull ups /push up bars. When I tried light weights 6-8 kg and had poor technique got back injuries all the time imo it's difficult to not injure you're back with right technique too. But that's just my guess.
