Maybe the moderator will except this; Obama is certainly not an example of a man. He is one that I was talking about in the thread. Yeah, he is a good example of what I am talking about.
Believe it or not I respect woman more than you know. I know woman very well. I have stood up for them in so many ways. I wish I could explain fully but you would not believe me.

David222, I would like to welcome you, as you are fairly new and we have not interacted previously. I would also like to affirm your right to hold any opinion you like and your privilege to share it. May I offer a few words of advice though: As your profile says you are a Christian, pause and pray before you post your messages. Ask the Lord to show you things which might need to be re-worded, corrected, or even removed. Also consider how your post might be interpreted by those who hold different views, and how you might offend or even hurt others by your words. I speak from experience, having regretted some of my own early posts.

I've seen enough feminist and anti-feminist material to have a pretty good idea what you're talking about. I think your approach is a little heavy-handed and even borders on misogynistic. Perhaps reframing your position within a sound biblical context will make it more palatable and will generate more healthy discussion. Also, you might want to consider that this is an international forum. The feminist minority in America does not speak for the majority of women even there, let alone across the world.

One last thing: calling anyone a "P man" is offensive to me. Talk like that is going to get you banned in a hurry. Rather let your words reflect Christ's character. Please clean up your language, or I will report you myself. (edit:) I see an apology posted later; if that is for the offensive comment, thank you.

We are all equal in God's eyes so I could care less if a man or women does a job or not. God doesn't pick favorites and loves us all with the same unconditional love and that is what I base my view on the whole women and men thing although several Christians in the bdf would greatly disagree

God says that His will is that men are to go out and provide for the family, and that women are to work and home and take care of the family. So I would disagree with the idea that "Gods not concerned on what women do". He does have roles for both men and women.

Thats one thing I dont like about these threads, someone will come in wanting to support what the bible says, but they will probly do it the wrong way because of their own anger of constantly being called a monster for wanting what God has wanted, and because of this, they will make others who dont understand WHY hes mad angry and think /they/ are the ones being attacked, all while the world continues to tell all of us that Gods will is evil and gives one group everything and keeps the other group from everything, and continues to make us all hate each other, and the whole conversation on "what does God really want" will become a blazing fire of pent up emotions.

Instead of actually talking and coming to any middle ground, everyone will just claim offense and accuse everyone else of being a villain. I really hate seeing these conversations, it just makes me grumpy.

Nah, this is the part where I came in.

Now if you had cheese curls and fritos - with bean dip, preferably - I'd probably stay just to snack and yak. =^.^= But for the show itself, seen it before.

I was trying to decide where to post this message and I believe this place is as good as any. So here goes...........

A few days after my 22nd birthday, my carnal world collapsed and my spiritual eyes opened to Jesus Christ for the first time. On October 13, 1978 I began walking with Jesus our Lord. Today is my true birthday! \:D/

Sometimes a woman is so emotional in conversation the man choses to just gives up.
Is this thread a result of hmm hurt and pains of the past, where women were involved? I'm sorry, just couldn't help the assumption.

Anyway... where were we, ahh food.
