Okay, as a man of math and science I have done some back of the envelope calculations in search of that ever elusive common denominator and have substantiated the Hypothesis (with 87.9% confidence) 'that a significant percentage of 'Good Men' are in fact likely being taken and being held captive...
According to the UK Independent Lifestyle/Love-Sex report:
IF A MAN HAS THESE 9 QUALITIES NEVER LET HIM GO, SCIENTISTS SAY
1. Heās smart
2. He makes you laugh
3. He actively supports your career
4. He makes as much effort with your friends and family as you do with his
5. Heās emotionally intelligent
6. He respects your opinions and listens to what you have to say
7. Heās willing to put the work in
8. He celebrates your achievements
9. He shares your values
If a man has these 9 qualities, never let him go
Anecdotal observation: a large percentage of these qualities are likely present prior to any formal spousal training...
Yes - these are the ones that are being swooped up quicker than the rest of the competition can even get a fair shot (you snooze you loose)...
Therefor the following hypothesis warrants further evaluation:
Can sub-optimal 'Good-Men' be trained to become 'Good-Men' that are worth holding on to, and if so what percentage? lol
