I think I've got this figured out.... All the good men are taken because as soon as the first woman realizes he's a good man, she snaps him up and he's no longer available. So the hidden treasures that are out there are still hidden and no one realizes what a treasure that person is.

I'd rather stay single than be married to such an entitled "woman".

I don't believe all the good men are taken. I think there's plenty out there. Lots of good women too.
Many of the men that are married or taken aren't necessarily 'good' either. (And vice versa)!

I'm not a fan of the idea that women 'train' men. Men aren't dogs.
Couples grow together, and hopefully sharpen each other in the process.

I could not agree more (I'm married with I guess most call a 'good man' but he came that way)

no fan of training either...in either direction

mutual respect and allowing the other to be who they are is far better....I mean that's who you married to begin with

but sure sharp edges do get rubbed off

Reminds me of a joke I heard from Joel Osteen:

God makes a surprise visit to the Pearly Gates and says “I want the men to make two lines — one line for the men that dominated their women on earth, and the other line for the men who were dominated by their women. Also, I want all the women to go with St Peter.”

The next time God looked, the women are gone, and there are two lines. The line for the men who were dominated by their women was 100 miles long, and in the line of men who dominated their women there was only one man.

God got mad and said “You men should be ashamed of yourselves. I created you in my image and you were all whipped by your mates. Look at the only one of my sons who stood up and made me proud. Learn from him! Tell them, my son, how did you manage to be the only one in this line?”

The man surprised and confused replied “I don’t know, my wife told me to stand here.”

Whatever happened to acting... Actors used to be so much bigger than life and it showed when they acted. Now they're all just rich celebs.

I think theres 2 side to every story and 2 to disolve a marriage..

All the good men aren't taken. If they were there'd be no good men, yet good men are still getting married.
A more likely scenario is a man "seems" good because he's married, so the assumption is he's good. But since few unhappyily married people make it public even if he's not good most people won't have a clue and just assume.
With this perception women, sometimes, go after the man and convince him to cheat, without realizing the act of cheating no longer allows him to be as good as he was perceived, yet these women still assume he's good.
So really such claims are nothing but assumption.
Good men and women are out there so the question we should be asking ourselves is are we living up to the same standard we expect in those we want? If we were would those quality people not want us as well?
