But that's just the point of why they are held RIGHT NOW in chains in Tartarus til the day of judgement. They LEFT their heavenly bodies to have sexual relations with "strange flesh".
It is rather strange that Christians are unable to connect the evil angels before the Flood (called "sons of God" only because they were direct creations of God) who produced the Nephilim and "the angels which kept not their first estate" and "the angels which sinned" and are now chained in darkness in Tartarus, awaiting their final judgment.

BELIEVE IT. The 7th seal presents the events of the Great Tribulation, such as never was nor will ever be again (Mt 24:21)

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: (Mt 24:29)

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. (Rev 6:12-14)

So your thumbs down should be changed to a thumbs up.
The seventh seal opens the seven trumps. The seventh trump opens the seven vials of God's wrath.
Now the only sway you can say that the sixth seal is opened AFTER the seventh seal is to twist Scripture to support your belief.

Well if you keep this thread on topic it may be a first. ;)
I have nothing to contribute, the tribulation has already happened.
If we take Jesus at his word, the Philadelphians would be kept from the 1st century "great" tribulation.

(Rev 3:10 “Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.)

Like I said, pray for pre, prepare for post. That would be the safest answer.
let's hope it will be pre so we will not have to go through persecution ,sure it will be no fun .I don't get the post.Who will be left when Jesus comes back?

Amen, otherwise the letters delivered to those churches were not true.

Now I have to ask...sorry Least.... but what is "strange flesh" in context?
A fair question.

Jude relates the sexual activity that Sodom engaged in, AND TRIED TO ENGAGE WITH THE ANGELS, to the sexual activity that the fallen Angels DID engage in. There is a sexual relation Jude ties together. The important point is that Jude uses the term "ANGELS" to definitively identify the "sons of God" in Genesis 6.

Of course nowhere near the only evidence.

Since I gave you the actual words of Christ -- "immediately AFTER the tribulation" -- you are now simply resisting the truth and talking about me twisting the Scriptures. Anyone familiar with my posts knows full well that I DO NOT twist the Scriptures.
The 7th seal contains the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation, whether you wish to believe that or not.

I agree that the seventh seal opens the great tribulation, but I disagree that the sixth seal follows the seventh seal as you stated.
Can you give me the order of the seals, one thru seven, as you understand it?

I think this is somewhat of a weak argument ED, just because the angels appeared as men does not mean that the Sodomites could actually have some kind of activity with them, and the presumption is that they had begatting equipment.

If we look to Jesus' statement it would appear that begatting tackle is out of the question:

(Mat 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven )

I agree, it could have just been more lies, part of what fallen angels do.

Well I do not think angels are able to procreate that kind of ends it right there.
Good day UnderGrace,

What PennEd is saying regarding the angels taking wives is supported by scripture.

"Now when men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they took as wives whomever they chose." - Genesis 6:1-2

Notice in the scripture above, that there is a distinction made between men and the sons of God. In an attempt to dispel that "the sons of God" is referring to angels, some attempt to make them as referring to other humans. I have a copy of Ethiopic Enoch, which used to be apart of the scriptures and is quoted from by Jude 14. That said, compare Enoch's prophecy with Genesis 6:1-2

"It happened after the sons of men multiplied in those days, that daughters where born to them, elegant and beautiful. And when the angels, the sons of heaven, beheld them, they became enamored of them, saying to each other: "Come, let us select wives for ourselves from the progeny of men, and let us beget children." - Enoch 7:1-2

The difference between Genesis and Enoch is that, the "sons of God" are plainly identified in Enoch as being the angels, with both referring to the sons of God/angels taking wives from mankind. That "the sons of God" of God is referring to angels, is also supported in Job 1:6 & 2:1

"One day the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them."

"On another day the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them to present himself before Him."

I hope this is informative.

6 And the angels who did not keep their [c]proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 AS Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them IN A SIMILAR MANNER to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the [d]vengeance of eternal fire.

Can you not see Jude is tying the sexual sin of the Sodomites going after strange flesh to how the Angels went after strange (or foreign, unnatural) flesh?

Angels can eat, they can be amongst us and us not even know it. Look again how Jesus in a way CONFIRMS the Angels sinned.

Mat 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels IN HEAVEN

That's the whole point of their incarceration. They LEFT their heavenly bodies to commit that sin.

So are you saying in the resurrection we still have begatting equipment?

umm no ;)...I see the Jude putting in remembrance and giving examples of how God destroyed those who did evil in sequence .. those who did not believe that came out of Egypt, the angels that left their first estate and another example Sodom and Gomorrha
