Hey it happens, lol, but they need to be held on the first date. A smile is best expressed in the mouth, not in the hand, lol.

I’m a republican. How do you align with the Red states?

Now this is a good example of a thread that should be dug up once in a while.

One great thing to not say on your first date comes from an old Garfield comic.

GARFIELD: "What's your name?"
ARLENE: "They call me Arlene."
GARFIELD: "What do they call that space between your front teeth?"
ARLENE: "This relationship is off to a tenuous start."

Actually, I think that's a great thing for an American to say on a first date. There is no point in a second date with a liberal.

So you're Christian? I can rule out the chance of "action" before marriage?

For some reason you should not talk about your future children on the first date, or second or even third.

Now why a guy would WANT to speculate about the kids he would have with a woman on their first date, that I don't know. But apparently a lot of guys do this, enough that it has become a stereotype. And women really don't like it.

Can any guys out there clarify why some guys do this?
I have no clue! It would turn me off if she talked about future children with me on the first date.
