I know the Book of Genesis. You are not the aphar min haadamah.
and I know the Bible very well, read it all the way through over 20 times, and that is how I know gentiles are and were never under the Law, and were never commanded to keep the Sabbath.

this is a fact, and I will never back down on this.

I am told that my view of the law is that it must be obeyed in order for salvation to happen, that is NOT my view of the law. Paul taught me the meaning of the law along with the 119th psalm, we are to put on Christ into our hearts and minds.
the 119 psalm was wriiten by David to Solomon to keep the Law they were both born under.

there is nothing wrong with the Law, but we are saved by faith in Christ, which means the Holy Sprit comes to dwell in the believer.

the Holy Sprit directs the believer to manifest the Fruits of the Sprit, one of which is not keep the Sabbath.

it is simple- gentiles were never under the Law, and were never commanded to keep the jewish Sabbath as a part of being a believer.

and, I do not " want you gone"

I just do not want you to trust anything but faith in Christ for salvation..
I think Blik that you meet a lot of resistance concerning your faith and right understanding of God's law and its purpose for those of us who are in Christ, as Jesus taught as well when He said, if you love me keep my commands, because there are sects in the faith that teach the Old Testament is obsolete. Therefore, it isn't beyond reason that referencing anything from the Old Testament would garner comment from members of said sect. Just a thought so that you might consider the source of some push back on Christian forums. Blessings to you sister. You are His light in the darkness.

Holy Spirit God indwells the believer wherein God's laws are written on the heart of that believer, so that they may never be far from them. Indwelling Holy Spirit God, His laws written on the heart of the believer. One cannot separate God's intention that He leads us on the path of righteousness from that sacred space within the newly created temple of Holy Spirit God; the believer.

Psalm 119 is known as one of the many Acrostic Psalms. "We can learn the aleph-bet by examining various Biblical passages which are written as acrostics (alphabetically ordered verses and each first word commencing with each Hebrew letter of the alphabet in turn, from 1 through to 22). Psalm 119 is a famous example, written with 8 verses for each of the Hebrew consonants in order, so verses 1-8 each have a first word beginning with 'aleph and verses 9-16 each have a first word beginning with beth, and so on."

The above reference is shared for those who wish to study further.
I haven't shared a source that hasn't been subject to ridicule for some reason. Slights include denegrating the source because of the teacher at the source. And yet, what I think isn't considered often here among people of Christ, and those especially who make such remarks, is that in this forum we're all acting as teachers of and to one another. Perhaps we might consider that before we ridicule a source off this forum. Especially those that are far more learned than we.

OK.
That is a fact in your life. I think you over think and over stress when you think discussions in BDF's in any Christian community seek to make you "back down" on what you hold as a fact for your life about scripture.
I think too having that perspective, you may consider when you engage other Christians on a BDF that it may be your unconscious, or perhaps conscious, intention to make them back down on what they hold as faith. And because it does not comport with your ideal.

the reason your sources get ridiculed is they are ridiculable.

most of us do not care about nor will tolerate cult propaganda, which is what your " sources" are.

That's a bold statement calling learned credentialed Christians and their Apologetics resources, cult propaganda. You don't realize but you've just classified the faith as a cult.

I'm behind the curve on this one. What cult propaganda are we on about this time?

From dust cometh dust.
Not for those in God's grace. It all hearkens back to the coming of the first Adam, the blessing of the second. And with that the return to union with Holy Spirit God. The indwelt Christians is a tabernacle , a temple, of the Most High God. Indwelt as we are. The dust returns to the ground, the tabernacle returns to that from whence it sprang. The soul, God's breath, lives eternal.
That's the difference between living as dust begat from dust, and dust reborn by water and spirit and also blood, so as to be a new creation in Christ, with Christ in us. No one comes to the Father but through me.

Passover = πάσχα (pascha)
Strong: G3957

the passover, the paschal lamb, Mt. 26:17; Mk. 14:12; met. used of Christ, the true paschal lamb, 1 Cor. 5:7; the feast of the passover, the day on which the paschal lamb was slain and eaten, the 14th of Nisan, Mt. 26:18; Mk. 14:1; Heb. 11:28; more genr. the whole paschal festival, including the seven days of the feast of unleavened bread, Mt. 26:2; Lk. 2:41; Jn. 2:13
See everywhere pascha appears in the New Testament via teknia.com.
The Passover started the day the lamb was taken to the priest for inspection (that period is referred to as Passover), but the conclusion of the actual feast was the Friday (when Jesus was crucified) and the Saturday. The one thing that should give us a clue that Jesus and His disciples were not eating the Passover lamb was that the Passover lamb had to be eaten by 6 o’clock the Friday afternoon before the Passover Sabbath started and they were eating supper.

Mat 26:2 Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

This is also an indication that the actual feast was only in two days. God’s word and timeframes are perfect.

The other thing you need to consider is because the end of year period is referred to as Christmas holidays, does it make every day in December the 25th?

It is the same with the Passover, not every day is the feast but the period was referred to as Passover/Pesach.

This flesh corps I walk around in will die, and will rot to dust in the ground.
This is a little anecdote for ya. One evening I was out a long way into the woods at a pond fishing. That night when it was dark I decided to leave and go home. Some how I got off the trail into the woods and suddenly the ground gave way and I fell down into a hole. I found my self in some old cemetery with no visible markers only sunken graves. I did find some graves stones laying down and buried under leaves and debris and decayed plant matter. Guess what was in that hole...
Nothing but dirt. Not even bones. And at one end of that hole was a stone buried under years of decayed plant matter. you could tell it was once engraved, but you could not tell what was written.
Moral of the story; this flesh will rot in the ground and return to dust. From dust to dust.
It helps to remember that this flesh is dead already. No need to placate it's lusts.

Pass over is the last day of the feast of unleavened bread.
They like other people especially Greeks and Romans likely called the whole thing Passover.

Yes that happened after the Babylonian exile, they combined them another example of how they had moved away from the old teaching in which each was separate

I feel certain that you are not worshiping a God you know, but have changed God.

First, it is a law of the Lord that our salvation from the beginning of time has been through faith not works. That is a law. Salvation has been offered to man from the time Adam fell, it has always been through the blood of Christ. Christ is eternal as you may read in the first verses of John. Before people knew of the Christ as we know Him, a God who lived as a man and faced death for us, there had to be blood that symbolized the blood of Christ.

We are to be guided by the word and the word is written as scripture. It guides us so we can know the policies of God, and God is Lord of the spirit. In that guidance we are told God blessed the last day of the week and told to keep that day holy. It is done, finished, blessed. No other day of the week has that special blessing. On top of that, there is no scripture telling us God took that blessing or those guides for us away.

The first day of the week was named by sun worshipers and called sun day. The gentiles who became Christians after Christ were so used to going to their sun worshiping church on Sunday that they simply kept it up when they changed Gods and looked for justification for doing so. Now our entire world follows the sun worshipers. Paul said to not judge anyone about what day they worship, but he didn't say that God ordered first day of the week. Paul and Christ went to synagogue on the last day of the week.

The word speaks of being under law, and we do not face death through the law when we have Christ, but it is in error to say that we may thumb our nose at the words of the Lord because we aren't under law for life but under grace. It is a law that we have grace, everyone agrees we are under that law even those who say we aren't to listen to law.
