All satan’s religions are “synergistic”.
Still riding your hobby horse? Actually no one is interested in this since that word is not even found in the Bible.

On the secular side, synergy is actually a good thing. It is "the interaction of elements that when combined produce a total effect that is greater than the sum of the individual elements, contributions, etc.; synergism."

You would have been further ahead by ditching the false gospel of Calvinism and sticking with the Gospel of Christ as found in the Bible.

Am I still pointing out the fact that all satanic religions are synergistic? Yup.

Oddly enough you’re right there once again to tell me nobody cares.

This time your even insinuating synergism is good for the church.

This is scary even from you. 👆

I’m curious. Why do you have such a problem with me connecting the dots between synergism and satanic counterfeits?

Oh that’s right you’re a synergist, yoked to the entire liberal “church”, Roman Catholicism, Islam, Mormonism, JW’s, Hinduism, Luciferianism etc. etc.

I wouldn’t want anyone connecting those dots either.

This Scripture came to mind, is it relevant here or not?
'Remind them these things, solemnly charging them before God not to quarrel about words, for nothing profitable but to the subversion of those hearing'. 2 Tim 2:14 (I think quarrel is a key word)

Christians: Pastors Who Don’t Know God.

Many (not all) of these men and women who inhabit the pulpit have exalted themselves above correction, or so they think. Members dare not correct them. Outsiders are pushed away. And day after day, men and women not of God continue to deceive the hearts of the simple. The simple with itching ears who heap to themselves teachers full of comfortable lies, nonsense and false promises. But this time I am not going to start off by calling out Creflo “man of God but confused and deceived by Kenneth Copeland” Dollar, former false teacher Fred Price Sr., T.D. Fakes, Paula “sleep with married Benny Hinn” White, Dale “put your name on everything to promote yourself Bronner, Peter “sucker you with free spring water packets” Popoff, Juanita “profit-ess with serious mental issues” Bynum nor Joel “Don’t Worry Be Happy” watered down Gospel Osteen. Come on people, stop falling for the show. Well I guess I did call them out.
Okay, so there are eight people who shouldn't be in Christian ministry (if your accusations are valid!). Among the multiple thousands just in North America who function as pastors, do they qualify as "so many"?

In Christian theology, synergism is the belief that salvation involves some form of cooperation between divine grace and human freedom. Synergism is upheld by the Roman Catholic Church, Orthodox Churches, Anabaptist Churches and Methodist Churches.[1][2][3][4] It is an integral part of Arminian theology common in the General Baptist and Methodist traditions.[5][6]

Synergism stands opposed to monergism (which rejects the idea that humans cooperate with the grace of God), a doctrine most commonly associated with the Reformed Protestant as well as Lutherantraditions, whose soteriologies have been strongly influenced by the North African bishop and Latin Church Father Augustine of Hippo (354–430).[7]Lutheranism, however, confesses a monergist salvation but rejects the notion that anyone is predestined to hell (see § Lutheran and Calvinist views).

Synergism and semipelagianism each teach some collaboration in salvation between God and humans, but semipelagian thought teaches that the beginning half of faith is an act of human will.[8] The Council of Orange (529), Lutheran Formula of Concord (1577), and other local councils each condemned semipelagianism as heresy.[9]

Perhaps I will be booted as a new member, for sharing such a strong opinion... lol I just wanted to leave a "HELPS" for preacher wives and ministry women... But respectively, I do not believe this is a "new problem". Where did the pharisee's go to church? Sadducees? Nicodemus? A church is just a body of believers in a physical form of gathering. I just strongly believe if you want a real loving, right-with God kind of church help build one! It takes hard work and laborers are few. When the church wants to be the world, what is the difference of just being in the world? We cannot dabble in the world and expect God to bless. I strongly believe that's the bigger issue. There has been a huge shift lately we have noticed, so many people are willing to pick up their entire life to relocate across the country to be in a holy spirit filled traditional church. Why? Because it does not look like the rest of the world and "it's" churches! And there is NOT a church like that near them.

Pilate: “What is truth?”
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6)

IMHO in these days when many seem to be promoting a different Jesus, a Jesus of imagination not of Revelation, it's time to be a Berean. God Bless :)

Truth is MISSING from Five Point Calvinism. So what is truth to a Calvinist? Something to be manipulated to fit a WARPED THEOLOGY.
Pilate: “What is truth?”
University of Oxford makes you answer that in first year philosophy (they're really religious around there). That question has an absolutely objective definition from Aristotle's Logic, and you have to know it. This came up later in the books of Paul. Why did Paul say that Logic was of the Jews? Because someone had pointed out that Logic is of Aristotle. Paul was trying to say that Pilate had mistried the case, it was a religious blasphemy case originating in the Jewish Temple, and Pilate interpolated an outside problem from Greece, asking a question to which any Rabbi would have known the answer anyway.

I don't think so. You would be very surprised if you knew first of all how many alternative ordinations are both totally legal and possible to study for with Federal Student Aid. Also, claiming to be able to just eyeball someone in the pulpit and judge whether or not they were genuine pastors without even making sure that you knew the exact doctrines of their individual churches and how those matched or contradicted doesn't work.

We now have a "messiah" and a "prophet" on board. What could possibly go wrong? :D Pretty soon we will have "Elijah" appearing, then "signs, wonders, and miracles".

Five-point Calvinism? Are the five points in this thread, where? Are they related to the five pillars of Islam, or...? People are always trying to come up with "points". Progressives are huge on it, Roosevelt had four freedoms, witches are chemistry funkateers who think there are only four elements, and everyone in the neocons is shrinking the list of seven arts and sciences.

BY the way, in case your denomination has cut you off of classics, the seven arts and sciences are three arts and four sciences. It's the arts that "they" have gotten rid of, the arts are called grammar, LOGIC, and rhetoric.

I am surprised that you are not familiar with this false gospel. Kindly do a Google search or even within ChristianChat.

I soooo agree with you!!! As a minister myself (for many decades), I refuse to step foot in any "church". When I tell the "pastor" (who invites me to preach at their building) why, and call him/her out on the TRUTH, they get mad and call ME a hypocrite! I try to explain the TRUTH about tithing YHWH'S way, and they "blow up!" Then I said, Yeshua wouldn't preach there either!" that really get's them! lol

Now that I think about it that reminds me of all the Humanists I went to school with. The "thought" behind that is basically "we decided religion was false, how do we recover all out time spent at studies". And what comes out of it is something like Religion for Atheists by Alan Botain or sociological surveys of preachers, teachers, evangelists etc. by people who compare the self-declared "holders of the spiritual gifts" on other criteria, including nonexistent ones that they made up to explain spiritually derived consequences in the context, personalities and events that are unique to soul and the existence of the Real Presence including angels.

At first that kind of attitude is helpful, because it allows you to forgive a certain class of meeting goer and facilitator who in point of reality is really only in it for the money and the status anyway, but as you mature you start to understand that you let the spiritual wolves off too lightly, compared to the personal injury they caused the true seekers after truth and worthy shepherding.

Also, that kind of sociological survey is a waste of time. Most people are less literate than a high faulting Humanist thinks anyway, and they've already quit that church that required such a long attention span. If they haven't thrown out their whole libraries including the Bible already anyway, they threw out everything except the Bible, which they only keep on a stand in the foyer for show. As far as the polywogging that genuine fake pastors do as people, they're all just psychologists and social parole officers.

It doesn't really matter whether they knew anything or not, in other words. Hey, maybe we're all wrong in here and there's no God. But if there isn't, or they simply have no talent, what are they doing? I know I'd be tempted to just laze around on the sofa all week watching movies to use as glitzy intros to by sermons and gossip and believe me I've seen plenty of speakers like that in churches. I've also met the clubby Council of Churches pastors with the fat Rolodexes. But maybe we're all right and there is a God, but they're just not getting in touch to be spiritual leaders. Then what are they doing? Succeeding from the Union and forming alternative Theocratic Governments? Acting as agents of the secret police? If they aren't spiritual and engaged in spiritual activities, then what ARE they doing?

Perilous time have been here since the fall, what's new? Warning of the final tribulation proof text post always remind me of a certain class of "union" thinker in dance hall cabaret, they've heard a few rally numbers by educated musicians like Pete Seger and think that it's all a black spiritual sing along trying to voodoo some extra pay in the form of raises from the state through activist judges. Actually (sorry SBC) it's something to do with your national allegiance.
