Is Romans 10:9 saying if you confess to other people that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God the Father raised him from the dead, you will be saved? Did I get any of that wrong? I have another question, what does it mean that Jesus is Lord?

Is there anything else someone would have to believe?

By believing Jesus took the punishment for our sins by dying on the cross and also believing that he was buried and that he rose from the dead on the third day?

How is someone saved?

Would it be possible to get more responses to this? I guess I just want to know I'm getting things right.

Or I guess He did, when God (the Father?) made Him to be sin. Kind of stumbling here, I guess.

I might just be really messed up because I might have got an answer from gotquestions.org that said Jesus did not take the wrath of God (the Father, maybe) for us (maybe, if that's what they were saying). I might have been told here also that Jesus did not take the wrath of God for our sins...

Christ because sin for us though, right? Does that mean Jesus actually took the wrath of God for us? (the wrath of God the Father, right?) Like God the Father's (?) wrath was actually directed at Jesus for us?

In 1 Corinthians 15:3 when Paul says that Christ died for our sins is he saying Christ took the punishment for our sins by dying for them? I guess I'm not getting what Christ dying for our sins means.

In John 6:44 doesn't Jesus say that no one can come to him unless the Father draws them? (is this what's happening?) And doesn't Paul maybe (if it's Paul) write that God (the Father, maybe) will have mercy on who he has mercy and that he will harden who he hardens? Isn't who is saved a choice...

I might have been pretty presumptuous asking someone else about what God knew before creation began. Or even just asking someone else about what God knows.

You don't think God knew who would be saved and who wouldn't be saved before creation began? (might not be wording things right, I actually might be wording things in a way I shouldn't be) Or you don't think He knew when creation first began? Also when you used the word God did you mean the Father?

Just to be clear, when I was asking if it's a profession of faith you say outloud I might have meant saying "Jesus is Lord" outloud, or something like that.
