Eternal Security - Most dangerous words ever preached: Once saved, always saved.

Hebrews 10 v29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will...

You are sealed with Him (in other words He dwells in the believer). It doesnt mean the rebel who quenches the Spirit will be saved.

34 Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. 35 And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. 36 Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. Do you believe this? - Jesus Christ, Lord of Heaven and...

You said "How can someone actually be lost when he is glorified" To which my responses were......he is not glorified yet. He can still be lost on the journey. Salvation happens at the end of the journey. The JUST shall LIVE (ongoing) by faith.

You miss my point. Glorification will not happen to Goats. Goats will not have a happy redemption day.

Eternal Security - Most dangerous words ever preached: Once saved, always saved.

You are not glorified yet. You HOPE for glorification (Romans 5v2). You are not SAVED yet. You are only at this point JUSTIFIED (and by implication have Peace with God). You are still working out your salvation. You are BEING SAVED. The biggest issue comes about with a translation error in...

Its good to see more and more people standing up for the true gospel on these pages. At one stage it was very lopsided towards the apostate doctrine of OSAS.

Nehemiah, if you couldnt understand this, then.......you just cannot see it.

Let us deal with this verse. Unregenerated man comprised of Soul and Flesh. Born again man the Spirit comes alive (the holy of holies in the temple of the body). We are to be led by the Spirit. Those led by the Spirit are the sons of God. We are to by the Spirit put to death the misdeeds of the...

And OSAS is the Strong Delusion (Apostasy) of 2 Thess 2. That's why they simply cannot see any longer, because the delusion is strong, and is sent by God, because they have not the love of the truth.

Precisely. The doctine of OSAS came from the serpent in the garden. "Thou shalt surely not die" --- by implication that you can continue to disobey God without consequence.

Why do you quote me as saying I have not sinned? Feel free to scroll back through all my posts and find something which supports your assertion.

    Apostasy 101

Yeah. We are justified by Faith, however true faith manifests itself through Godly works. If there are no Godly works it may very well be a sign that your faith is not genuine.

    "Not by works" - false!

Judges, I support most of what you post, but I believe you are wrong on this one. There is no salvation without Christ. There cannot be. There is only one name under heaven by which man can be saved. You cannot come to the Father but by Him. Etc.

Deuteronomy 31v6,8 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” 8 And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do...

Malachi 1 1 The burden of the word of the Lord to Israel [b]by Malachi. 2 “I have loved you,” says the Lord. “Yet you say, ‘In what way have You loved us?’ Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?” Says the Lord. “Yet Jacob I have loved; 3 But Esau I have hated, And laid waste his mountains and his...

    "Not by works" - false!

Jackrosie, what you said is important. Because we are to turn to the revealed scriptures to truly understand God and His revealed will. If we bypass the scriptures, we can so easily be led away in error. Perhaps creating a God in our own image (an image of what/who we think He is, as opposed to...
