As I’ve said in one of my posts, many people come and go. Here are three suggestions I believe new users would appreciate.

1. I would make it to where you cannot use a picture as your signature. I would also either limit the amount of words that can be utilized as a signature or altogether take it out. They are taking up a lot of space. As you may already be aware, a signature is something you typically utilize for a professional email. If anything we should be using our first names (only) for our signature.
If you don't like how people use the allowable signature space, you can change your settings so you don't see signatures.
In general settings scroll down to "thread display options" and uncheck "show signatures". Then scroll to the bottom and click "save changes".

2. When someone wants to respond to someone else’s comment, I would do what Facebook does, I would have their username pop up, not their whole conversation because some comments are extremely long.

Not possible with our forum platform

3. Everyone should have to display their age in their profile.
I tend to agree with this because it can at times be helpful to know the age of the person you are responding to but unfortunately our current platform does not allow a forced setting at sign up (that I am aware of).

I like the fact that OnceFallen is able to share that he is our "Idiot In Chief" rather than just a regular ol' boring senior member!

Those are my three basic suggestions and I know they would clean up the chat.

God bless

The signature is a unique creation, as long as you can do it without exceeding the character limit. What's wrong with a picture in the signature. It would be nice to know the age of the member but I would not make that a requirement. You said the everyone should display their age but you neglected to display your own age.

I was wondering about that too.

Jay, I was just curious as to why you'd want everyone to show their age, when we don't know yours?

Just asking as an honest question...
