God does not lie! You have no concept of whom you speak.!! No concept whatso ever!! No wonder all the confusion...oui
Romans 11
I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, 3Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

I do have a concept of what I speak, Romans was written before 70ad,
There is no more righteous line in Old covenant Israel accept Jesus!
The Old Way in Adam was made obsolete.
But this thread is about the Feasts of the Lord, and I was asked to bow out and wasn't welcomed here;
Which I was happy to do! The Israel of God!
have a blessed new year!

Revelation 8
The First Four Trumpets

7The first sounded, and there came hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth; and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. 8The second angel sounded, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea; and a third of the sea became blood, 9and a third of the creatures which were in the sea and had life, died; and a third of the ships were destroyed.

they felt a quaking, and heard a great noise,

Some questions. Is it the "great noise" that you take to be a trumpet blast? So a third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, all green grass was burned up, a third of the sea became blood, and a third of the ships were destroyed. Did Josephus record this? Or did this happen at another time?

Some things that make me skeptical of this point of view is that when Christ said, "It is finished," and then he died he still had yet to be buried in a rich man's tomb. There still had yet to be manifested the first fruits, there was no sounding of trumpets yet, etc. So what is the reasoning that leads one to believe that Christ meant to complete every single prophecy the first time around? I don't see that. Whatever "it" was that was finished wasn't the rest of the prophecies found in the New Testament, especially since the book of Revelation was written after Christ's resurrection and ascension into Heaven.

It is finished. All the work Jesus, Yeshua, was to do, to give the good news to all mankind and to suffer doing it was finished. Now mankind, whosoever will, to the Lord may come and drink of the water of life and be cleansed by His Blood for eternal Salvation. Jesus and/or Yeshua translate as Salvation. He is Salvation and His part in this age, that is in the flesh, is finished.

John where do you learn the Scriptures?

Old Covenant Israel was abolished in 70ad, they do not exist on the earth any more!
Have you ever told someone you'd love them forever?
Forever meant from then until their Messiah was made known to them.
Old Covenant Israel's forever; was the Old way in Adam, it's all they ever knew.
It's the symbolic language of the Prophets.

The Messiah was made known to them the first time he came and they did not receive him and were dispersed with the destruction of the temple and are now in unbelief, except a remnant. No one should have a problem with that, but we do not leave off there and count Israel and its people for NOTHING nor do we have reason to conclude that God is not faithful to what he has promised his elect people who have been rebellious, obstinate and unfaithful to him. We can't simply submit to what has been promised to and for Israel and its people as having already been fulfilled by the first coming of Christ. There is prophecy that Messiah would be rejected by Israel and its people and should we conclude that God would stop being faithful to them and his promise to restore the kingdom unto them? Do we substitute the blessing of the church for Israel, even though only a remnant believed?

God was faithful to Israel in sending his Son the first time for sin and God will be faithful again when he sends his Son a second time unto salvation for those who are in unbelief. They will see him and they will mourn and receive him and not reject him and ALL of Israel will be saved and delivered. That is a promise from God who can not lie for it is impossible. This calling, to not forsake his people, will be demonstrated and come to fruition when he comes again and they shall be his people and he will be their God and they will reign with him a thousand years. He will pour out his wrath, he will deliver them and they shall be counted as the seed and he will reign with his people Israel in the kingdom that he establishes on the earth. God has never, is not presently and will never forsake his people Israel.

"It is finished" was the 14th day of the 1st month, ending the life of the flesh.
"It is finished" was the 14th day of the 7th, completing the 5 days of atonement.
And now, through Christ Jesus remission is accomplished, doing away with the sin, instead of just covering the sin as atonement was in the Old Testament.

Romans 10:15 (KJV)

[SUP]15 [/SUP]And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

you deny it in the very same thread you say it's true:)

God has future animal sacrifices planned
http://christianchat.com/bible-disc...-animal-sacrifices-planned-2.html#post1297677

your honest view of scripture; includes a future Millennium; with Temple for sacrifices, which Ezekiel says are FOR SIN.
you agree.

The vision in Ezekiel 40-48 includes animal sacrifices.

Because Dispensationalists are committed to a literal, future fulfillment of Ezekiel 40-48, Dispensationalists believe that there will be a return to animal sacrifices during the Millennium.

Some Dispensationalists have tried to skirt the issue by arguing that the animal sacrifices are of a memorial nature. Thus, the animal sacrifices are simply pointing back to the death of Christ, in a similar way that the Lord's Supper points back to Christ.

However, the text of Ezekiel 40-48 belies this claim. These are not mere memorial animal sacrifices. Fourteen times, the text calls for a "sin offering" (Ezekiel 40:39; 42:13; 43:19, 21, 22, 25; 44:27, 29; 45:17, 19, 22, 23, 25; 46:20).

Leviticus describes the sin offering as "making atonement" (Leviticus 4:20, 26, 31, 35, etc.). These are animal sacrifices to atone for sin.

Fourteen times, the text in Ezekiel calls for a "sin offering"
Ezekiel 40:39; 42:13; 43:19, 21, 22, 25; 44:27, 29; 45:17, 19, 22, 23, 25; 46:20

now john.......about that lying about sin offerings.

OK, now take that up with Ezekiel, he is the one who penned that at the behest of Almighty God.

I absolutely DO NOT believe in animal sacrifices for sin, that is one more of your absurd twists and lies. The truth is animal sacrifices NEVER paid for sin...

so this: is not true - "I absolutely DO NOT believe in animal sacrifices for sin"

why do you think Ezekiel's temple was:
a vision of a literal temple to be built either in the past or in the future?
since it wasn't built in the past, you have it in the future; where there will be animal sacrifices to make atonement for sin.

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises!

And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

You are correct here, if it is all finished, when did this occur?

Act 1:11 who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."

Rev 1:7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

And this...

Rev 20:1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
Rev 20:2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
Rev 20:3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

or is Satan still doing this?

1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Not sure what you asking, I said Messiah did all the work the Father gave Him to do at that time. Obviously the verses are future, and oh yeah, I do believe the adversary walks 2 and fro, still accuses us, alas, we have a mediator, the Messiah the Lamb, for our attorney before the throne of God.:)

Might I add though, this thread is for the Feasts of the Lord.:)Please, and thank you.

I am agreeing with you my friend. The questions are pointed at those who say EVERYTHING is finished which would include the Feasts of the Eternal.

Contemplate the flour mixed with oil. 3 tenths of an Ephah for the Bullock, 2 tenths for the ram, and 1 tenth for each of the 7 lambs during the month of Tishri. It is very eye opening concerning Christ Jesus and the predominate people who governed Israel as a whole. It is so clear for reflection in the present, and hope for the future by trusting in God our Father in heaven. This is so current for today. We have a foundation completed in Christ. Take the foundation away, and everything crumbles.

Hi, would you please elaborate? I do not understand.:)

Hi, would you please elaborate? I do not understand.:)

I'm right in the middle of it, but I will share some of what I have written about this. I'm still praying for more understanding as I go. Here it is. It's just in part. A very small part. LOL

Numbers 28:12-13 (KJV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And three tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one bullock; and two tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one ram;
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And a several tenth deal of flour mingled with oil for a meat offering unto one lamb; for a burnt offering of a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.

To clarify the meaning of the oil used in these offerings, I will start by quoting Numbers 15:4 which says; “Then shall he that offereth his offering unto the LORD bring a meat offering of a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of oil.” Oil reflects light, and glistens because of the light. It is fully refined representing the fulfillment of all things through Christ Jesus. Jesus said in John 9:4-5 “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” He also said that we, as members of His church, should reflect that light. (Matthew 5:14, and John 11:9) With that said, the spiritual meaning of the olive is giving nourishment for the soul, giving the world the sign, or signal found in His cross. The oil, spelled out in the Hebrew language, is clearly the blood flowing out from the Father’s Son produced by the beating, and chaos resulting in the death of the flesh, being the olive itself. The oil is then seen as the end result of the best refinement process known.
To put this in proper perspective there is one simple verse in Leviticus 17:11 that says it all. “ For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”
