How do husbands feel about male gynecologists?

You have a right to ask that she not see a male OBGYN, however if she has a physician she trusts then she has the right to refuse your request. Another thing no gynecologist has ever shoved their face in my private areas. Unless there is a problem these exams don't last very long. When I gave birth to my first child my husband saw a lot. The male doctor checking my dilation progress was the least of his worries.

Well, the husband is the head so my wife does not have the God given right to go against my request. If she does then she is in sin.
 
Stephen I hope you are never in the position where your future wife needs emergency medical care in her vaginal area. I was in that position and I was in so much pain I wanted someone to stop it. If George Clooney's clone was the attending physician the last thing on my mind would have been his looks.

I'm not talking about urgent medical care, I'm talking about yearly exams.

Which is why it is wise for a man to discuss these things before he marries. The last thing a man wants is a rebellious wife. He would be better off living in the desert or on the roof.

Women can be strange. Just as men can be. My point is you may not find a woman willing to submit in the way you think she should. Now I will answer any more questions people have about bed bathing but otherwise I am going to go find a post I might have some fun on. :)

Well perhaps they have broken both their arms, or they have advanced cancer and are too weak, or have just had abdominal surgery or any of the hundreds of other reasons a person may not be able to reach there.

Exactly.

According to my nurse friend, a sponge bath is one of the LEAST erotic procedures, ever. It seems silly to even argue about this.

As for a male gynecologist - It seems an insult to us men to suggest that a male doctor can't be clinical and professional. It's about having the best qualified person available to care for the patient.

I don't consider myself rebellious, but I speak my mind when it's necessary. But if it really bothered my husband and made him uneasy I would find a female doct.
