I answered that for you.

I was just listening to a Baptist pastor on YouTube talk about how it shadow banned him whenever he started to have thousands of views per day on his popular sermons.
He was given a running total of the number of minutes. He did the calculation and it came to a total of thousands of years.

This is just one example showing what Jesus likely meant when He said that His disciple would do greater things.
Did He mean, greater than creating food, healing the lame, raising the dead?
No, then He must have meant that term to be greater in another aspect.
What do you think?
The Lord Jesus' preaching during that 3 years (in His role as the Son of the living God) cannot be questioned, for it was sufficient for Him to fulfill and accomplish the will of God.
Therefore, according to what He said, it is not the length of one's preaching that constitutes the greater works.

On the other hand, when He spoke John 14:12, He did not know that He would only be able to preach for three years.
He said John 14:12 based on the works He was doing at that time.

A person who does not know the one true God is not given the truth of His Word by God.
And still you persist with your baseless accusations.

Your refusal to answer is proof that you do not know the truth of John 14:12.
No, it is not. Not even a little. Clearly you know nothing about valid evidence in rational discussion.

If you truly know the one true God, you would not ask me to retract my statement.
That doesn’t make sense at all.

I am only a human being, just as you are.
Even if I were to withdraw it, that would not serve as the basis for your salvation.
That you think anyone would consider your retraction as a basis for salvation suggests that you actually have no idea what is the basis for salvation.

I love the gist of what you are saying but perhaps I could be helpful to you on a couple of points.

You stated above that: "God's restoration of fallen man requires the old, dead spirit to be removed and a new, live spirit to replace it.". While what you are expressing has the truth in it, it would be better to say that fallen mans old dead and inoperative spirit needs to be regenerated. Regeneration, means to take something that exists and bring it back to a functional state. Example: the way one would recharge or jump a dead battery. Therefore, "regeneration", is equated to the New Birth, a mysterious work of the Spirit upon the passive person to regenerate his/her inoperative spirit. Once done, the Gospel message will be effectual in their heart.

When you then stated, "No one can do this by themselves. Only God can do it.". I would say, Amen.
We'll agree to disagree on that point. I have reason to believe that God actually replaces the old spirit with a new one. I won't go into it.

And still you persist with your baseless accusations.

It's not really a big deal if you don't answer the question about what the Lord Jesus said in John 14:12.
Even if you say that you know the answer, the reality is that you do not truly know it, the Lord will not force you.
He knows what is in your heart. If what He sees is pride, then the Lord God will not reveal Himself to you.
He reveals Himself only to those who are humble. That is why God will remain a mystery to you.

And by not knowing the one true God, you will remain in your sins.
JOHN 9:40-41
40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

In our time today, every group in Christianity has its own preachers or teachers.
All of them claim to believe in the Lord Jesus and to follow Him.
How then will they clarify and prove the words of the Lord Jesus: “The works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do”?
Another astonishing miracle the Lord performed was raising Lazarus from the dead.
According to Martha, Lazarus's sister, his body had already begun to decay because he had been dead for four days.
Yet the Lord still raised him to life.
JOHN 11:38-44
38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

How, then, can preachers and teachers of God's Word prove this?
What clear explanation can they give to substantiate what the Lord Jesus said in John 14:12?
For they proclaim that they believe in the Lord Jesus and that they are His disciples.
“The works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do”

Answering your question won’t convince you of anything. Only you searching and realizing you have no evidence for your accusations will convince you.

Either that or a firm rebuke from the Lord… and given your stubbornness, I have my doubts on that.

What matters to God are the lost sheep. It is for them that the Lord prepares His kingdom.

Those who are not lost sheep, or those whose hearts are filled with pride, are simply left by the Lord.
Because they are not worthy of His kingdom

One more thing: your refusal to answer the question is proof that you are a self-centered person.
Yes, you are only thinking about yourself.
Because if you believe that your answer is the truth and you refuse to share it, what about the others who are reading this and are searching for the truth?

That is not the attitude of those chosen by God. Selfishness is the attitude of people who do not know the one true God.

Accusing others while providing absolutely no evidence to support the accusations is the behaviour of people who do not know the one true God.

Because you are being selfish and unwilling to share, you are no different from the one who was given one talent. Instead of putting
it to use or sharing it with others, he simply hid it in the ground. That is why the master was angry with him.
These are the words of God that will never pass away and remain alive in our time today.
MATTHEW 25:14-30
14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Accusing others while providing absolutely no evidence to support the accusations is the behaviour of people who do not know the one true God.
In a sense, it is not surprising that you would say such a thing.
2 CORINTHIANS 11:14-15
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

So you disagree with my points and very plausible examples of greater in quantity.

What is your theory?

Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof."
Matthew 21:43 (KJV)
And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

So you disagree with my points and very plausible examples of greater in quantity.

What is your theory?
My theory cannot be considered definitive, because the truth about this should come only from God, not from any human being.
I believe that in the Lord's appointed time, He Himself will reveal why He said in John 14:12.

Jesus finished and he went ti to the Sit of High Priest ,while His Spirit The Snointing lives in me and others that what Him ,without any man woman child or religion holding them back ! We are to continue the work if even in this chat site nobody really gets along or do iwhat the Holy Spirit wants to do
I'm hoping to fulfill the word given to me I see a devastated battle zone all is destroyed but I see the sun and the stars the Moon and the sky is above so that's what I see instead of the dissolution that's all around .
There is a lot of graves with dead bones ,Jesus can rise now if that's what needed to be done by His Anointed.
Have i seen any type of life dead and back to life, yes
i have.
Have I seen the dumb talk yes i have
did I have a a mountain in my way that needed to be moved well not quite a mountain but yes I have. Have I recharged with the angels when people received the Holy Spirit yes i have and I may have seen that a thousand times .I never took notes
Jesus isn't doing anything on his own ,he's seated on the Throne waiting for us to use what he has given us the Parah of the Holy Spirit
can't you people Hear ? Not By might nor by Power but by My Spirit ,Says the Lord . when Jesus gets up off the Throne best be ready . Just know We are Znot waiting on The Sin of man Jesu Glorified .Lord Gid Almighty is Waiting on Us That have all that is meeded to Fullfill the plan in each of US,! I don't know if you know this but we are in reverse Babylon or we could actually work together go back to that story they could go to heaven they built a tower through the heaven yes you can find it in the Bible proof is in the spirit of the Lord

Elijah did some miracles. Elisha, who received a double portion of the Spirit that had been on Elijah, did many more miracles and greater miracles than Elijah. IMO Elijah is a type of Jesus and Elisha is a type of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit through the saints is doing more and greater works in His ministry than Jesus did during His ministry. Those works are done through disciples.
The prophets have the miraculous miracles done We like Jesus hold all 3 king Preist prophet Anointings.
so must be very necessary! Idont call it works tho. Its actually not my vocabulary saying Works . Faith as Verb is true faith ,some call it works other dont know faith as a verb But a Noun just a outer white wall "saying i have faith" thats not faith of Him . . So yes just as confusing as paul but maybe scratch works and do i something insted Like Parah thats absolutely His Faith and we have it.

I'm genuinely trying to understand your perspective.
After studying the Word of God for five to ten years, how do you explain the Lord Jesus' statement in John 14:12?
If your approach relies on careful biblical teaching and the hermeneutical method, how do you apply that method to this particular passage?
I'd appreciate a clear explanation of how you understand it.
JOHN 14:12
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

I'm genuinely trying to understand your perspective.
This is rather odd. You quoted yourself, a post in which you also quoted yourself, and say this.

You’re beside yourself with confusion.

Maybe you should just answer your own question… or get some help.

All genuine Christians have been born again. It’s not a title but a description. It is therefore redundant to say “born-again Christians”; there are no other kinds.

For the record, I have found that these days, when seeking a woman for potential marriage, that claiming that she must be a Christian can get you all kinds of crazy. We need to be more specific. Born again doesn't work either. I can't get involved with Catholicism, but a Catholic woman would ask her priest, 'am I born again?'. He would reply, "you're Catholic aren't you? Of course you're born again". Now, having learned my lesson, I just say I'm looking for a woman who loves Jesus. Most people know if they love Jesus and can tell the difference between that and claiming a position in a church.

In that same spirit, I always thought that calling Mary the virgin Mary was a bit too much. Don't all women who were once virgins qualify for that title? Me thinks Jesus had siblings. She's not a virgin anymore.
