Again, I have never posted anything about a dead spirit..

You most certainly did say that.

Then you obfuscated what you meant after others made sense and you knew it.

You are here to destroy any constructive dialogue that may advance a better understanding of God's Word.

God will not be mocked.
You are going to reap what you have sown.

I never intimated that there was a difference in the salvation of OT and NT believers. We, in the New Covenant, have been given a down payment or earnest of our inheritance by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which the OT believers did not, and the fullness of salvation is part of that inheritance, is it not?
I do not believe salvation is the same as our inheritance ... I do believe that only those who are saved will receive an inheritance.

look up the difference between saved (verb, Greek = sōzō), salvation (noun, Greek = sōtēria) and inherit (verb, Greek = klēronomeō), inheritance (noun, Greek = klēronomia).

What do you call the period before the dispensation of the law?
the period of time when God dealt with the elder in the family. The elder generation was to teach the younger generation ... pass the truth of God and His Word down to children and to children's children.

I believe that unimputed sin is grace, what else would you call it?"
I believe God's grace has been bestowed upon mankind from the time of Adam and Eve to present day and in the future. All who have been saved in the past ... who are saved in the present ... who will be saved in the future ... have been/are now/will be saved by grace through faith.

Have you ever heard of the "age of grace" ... or the "church age" ... the period of time in which we now live ... after the ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ into heaven?

Do you believe that only NT believers receive an inheritance?" I would have to believe in replacement theory to believe that, which I certainly don't. There are too many promises God made to the Jewish people that have not been fulfilled. So, of course they have inheritances.
yeah ... I'm not into replacement theology.

Again, I have never posted anything about a dead spirit. You keep posting that same LIE. It's a LIE because I have corrected you on this many times and you STILL insist on spreading that LIE. You are playing up to people and will go to any length, including telling LIES. A deceptive, lying, python spirit influences you. I hope you can get freed by the Son, so that you can be free indeed.

Except scripture says we are dead in our sin. It's not our soul that's dead and it's not our body that's dead so that can only leave our spirit (that you think we have). We are not comatose in our sin, we are dead, dead, dead.

Just because you don't say our spirit (that you think we have) is dead, the fact remains, the scripture does say we are dead. So you can protest all you like but at the end of the day, you are the one posting the lie. You cannot be dead and alive at the same time, unless you're Schrodinger's cat. You have given no evidence that which is born of God can be corrupted, you have simply assumed it.

The wages of sin is death, not some figurative death but actual death. How could our spirit (that you think we have) be saved from death if in fact it is not dead?

Whatever way you want to slice it, you still have these dead, or as you prefer, deadened, tainted by sin, spirits returning to God. Why don't you explain how that is going to work out instead of taking the "methinks he protesteth too much" attitude?

Ecclesiastes 12:7
Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it.

Plainly and simply, you just don't believe the Bible, if, in your opinion, it differs from your theology, " Making the Word of God of none effect through your tradition, which you have delivered: and MANY such like things do ye." Mark 7:13.
You believe the Bible. I know you do.

You will do this....

It is what the Word of God says.
If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
Matthew 5:29-30

You are such a great believer!

I have proven, scripturally, the man has a spirit before salvation.

You have not proven anything.
You only cherry-pick verses that used the word spirit in a different manner.

The psukekos man (the natural man) can not understand the teachings of the Bible.
In 1 Corinthians 2:14, the “natural man” (psukekos anthrōpos) “does not receive” God’s Spirit things and “cannot understand” them because they are spiritually discerned.

You still don't understand that.
The natural man is unspiritual.

The natural man is only body and soul.
Because psukekos anthrōpos can legitimately be translated - "Soulish man."
No spirit. Only soul.

Look at the cause.
When Adam ate the fruit?
He died, as God said he would.
But Adam was still physically active.
For he died spiritually.

It is an important doctrine.
It is why some must resist it.

.......

I have proven, scripturally, the man has a spirit before salvation. The Holy Spirit might be a wrong spirit to YOU, but to me He leads me into all truth.

Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again. John 3:6-7

You always become like a deer caught in the headlights with the reality that speaks of.
It is sad that you do not get it.
For the Spirit wants to lead you into that truth.

grace and peace ........

Where did you find in Scripture that teens are not guilty under law?
I did say that ' I feel ' and , I was referring to her age , in so much as the longer a person lives , the more they have sinned , Mary possibly only being a teen , would likely not have broken any of the laws of Moses , but we as Christians know , that sinning isn't just about not breaking the laws of Moses is it ? I'm sorry if I didn't make myself clear in my previous post , I hope this one is clearer .

Our salvation in Christ automatically places us in with inheritance.
A heavenly inheritance with Christ.

In contrast, the Jews before the Church age were promised the new earth.
We have been given a fantastic inheritance as the Bride of Christ in heaven.

The Spirit Himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children, and if children, also heirs
heirs of God and coheirs with Christ—seeing that we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified
with Him. Romans 8:16-17

When we are manifested as the Bride. His glory becomes our glory! Inheritance!

However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”—
the things God has prepared for those who love him—

1 Corinthians 2:9

I'm not conflating anything, that's why I used a capital S and a small s, differentiating between the two. Nicodemus needed his spirit to be" quickened " by the Holy Spirit and that couldn't happen until after the "death of the testator."

There you go again. You must find a way to make us be with a dead/inactive human spirit.

Show me the receipt where I said anything about having a dead spirit. Meanwhile I have proven, Biblically, that man, before salvation, has a spirit.

No you haven't. To do what you want in the Ecc.3:21 verse you have to have the word that is translated as spirit to be two different things. That is not how things work. You can't have one meaning the human spirit then the next meaning breath/life, it lacks consistency. You have been shown animals do not have a spiritual life (therefore no spirit) for they are made solely from the elements of the earth and are not born of God.

You don't stop and think things through enough. You're like a broken record stuck in the same groove. You do the same with the words necros and anothen, refusing to see how they are used and what they mean within the context of the verses.

When you are promised something, say $10,000, and it is written down in a will, when the time comes for you to get that $10,000 isn't that an inheritance? Well God, the Father, has written down in His will and testaments promises that those who are His shall inherit said promises, of which is the fulness of salvation (deliverance from sickness, pain, death, no more tears, etc., etc.). We, in this present age, have been given an earnest or down payment of salvation, but not in it's fulness. I believe the fulness of salvation is part of what we are to inherit. " For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." John 1:17. I agree, grace has been since Adam ( God covered them in blood after they had sinned) but Gods' wrath was displayed in the dispensation of the law. " Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression." Rom.4:15. That's why I believe that the dispensation before the law was grace also. That doesn't mean that God's wrath WASN'T displayed before the law ( Noah), but for the most part it was grace before the law, IMHO. Again, what would you call the dispensation before the law?

I gave you plenty of scriptures to prove that man has a spirit, from the old covenant, and that animals have spirits. I'm through with that.

That was months ago.
Then you began to modify what you said as you went along.

If you want to act like you never said it?
That reveals to me something about yourself.

You should be avoided....
