There's 4-5 of you that really need to try and understand this scripture.
Romans 8:1-4
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
There is no condemnation, because of sinning against God and the law given by Moses, ONLY to those who are in Christ Jesus. That means BELIEVERS. That means ONLY those who have come to Christ Jesus and have received Rest and Salvation.
It is the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus that has made us free from the Law of sin and death.
A person HAS to be IN CHRIST in order to RECEIVE the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus.
A person HAS to come to Christ in order to have their sins taken away (ATONED) and to be justified and to no longer be under condemnation.
Point 1 ) Everyone has had their sins paid for in full / dealt with ect
point 2) not everyone has the Glory .
For all have sinned ( this has been dealt with ) AND come short ...of what ? the GLORY of God . Point 2) Rom 3.23 . is only dealt with be receiving the atonement. Rom 5 .11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
By recieveing Jesus . John 1:12
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1.29 .
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son,( point 1 ) much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.( point 2 )
col 2 14 ( point 1 ) 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
This is a struggle to see this with Calvinist lenses on .
