Sinai laws are not heavenly laws...they are prophetic in telling God's people His salvation plan through Jesus....shadows only.

God's 10 Commandments are NOT prophetic laws at all they are God's LAW of LOVE spoken by God himself, written by God himself on two tables of stone and commaded by GOD to be separated from all the other laws written in the BOOK of MOSES in the ARK of the COVENANT.

God's commands for the New Covenant are found in Jesus Sermon on the Mount....not Mount Sinai. That is where your logic fails you. You seek to be under Mount Sinai and the Jewish understanding of the ten commandments....instead of what Jesus teaches..

Yet is is God that says; MAN does not live by bread alone but by EVERY WORD that proceeds out of the mouth of GOD not just the WORDS we pick and choose.

Agreed, God's Word and in fact God Is Truth. The divider between two Christians is how we interpret that Word. The verses I posted show clearly that if you deem a day, food or ritual holy and you are doing it for God, no one should pass judgement on you. You want to observe sabbath on Saturday? Great! But you do not have the right to judge me on how I keep the sabbath, that is between God and me.

The problem I have with your post is only that you apply Romans 14 to God's 4th Commandment.

You have to read that interpretation into the chapter and the scripture to make your interpretation of it true.

There is NO MENTION of the SABBATH or the 4th Commandment in the entire chapter of Romans 14.

There are many holy days however from the OLD COVENANT fulfilled in Chirst (Lev 23)

The SABBATH is is not even the topic of Romans 14. How do you get that interpretation of Romans 14 if it is not written in the scriptures? Your reading something into the scriptures it is not saying or can you prove it is saying.

Hebrews 4 rest is talking about the Promised land, not the seventh day of the week.

If you "enter His rest" you are a citizen of the Heavenly Jerusalem. You have been given the Holy spirit, you are a priest, an Ambassador for Christ. Your body has been made into a holy temple for God. You no longer strive to work to obtain heaven. You rest in the work Jesus did upon the cross to give you that free gift of atonement for sins.

It is clear that the Sabbath spoken in Hebrews 4 is MORE than a weekly observance.

When one experiences the Gospel rest they cease from their own work as GOD did from HIS. GOD was not ever a non Spiritual BEING as we are outside of Christ. For GOD is Spirit. So HE did not enter into some spiritual rest; HE is our rest in Christ Jesus.. Hebrews four is a call to those experiencing the Gospel to cease from their own work as GOD did from His.

Let's take a look.

1) Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us (the people of the writers day and us) of entering into his rest (the Gospel), any of you should seem to come short of it. Dabid's (beloved's) Word's though GOD where and are a call to repentance; GOD's Rest in Christ. For unto us was the Gospel (His Rest) preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

For (because of the word just shared in Psalm) if Jesus (Joshua leading them into Canaan) had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day (constant call to the Gospel).

The leading them into the promise land was a symbol of what they already had available to them. After the forty years of roaming and seeing GOD's loving and guiding hand they were still only willing to receive the physical blessings and not the Spiritual; HIS Rest in Christ.

9) There remaineth (present tense) therefore a Sabbath keeping to the people of God.
This verse brings us back to verse 4 And in this place again, (GOD speaks of the Seventh Day) If they shall enter into my rest (the Gospel; the rest we have when Jesus is our life).

10) For he that is entered into his Rest (the Gospel), he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

"As" is direct Comparison. There is no way around that. So it is A Ceasing from work like GOD did from HIS. It is the calling to those who entered in their rest (the Gospel rest in Jesus in GOD) to cease from their work AS GOD did. GOD ceased from HIS PHYSICAL work on the Seventh Day. GOD is already and forever Spirit. So HE did not enter enter into any Spiritual rest we do. He is our Spiritual rest. So we in harmony with Christ and the FATHER cease from our work on the Seventh Day as HE did. The Day HE hallowed (set apart) and blessed.

So what are our instructions in regards to keeping the Sabbath?

Because we have received the Gospel; the new heart and mind through Christ Jesus; old things having passed away, all things being new and of GOD. We Simply cease from our own works as GOD did from HIS. He simply rested from work; so we rest as HE did.

If your Mother got sick on the Sabbath and needed a doctor, would you not take her. or would you let her suffer and die. which is better? The sabbath is still the sabbath and will always be. It is the only holy day of the week.,because God blessed it and made it holy. If it was storming and the roof of your house caved in on you, would you fix it, or wait until the next day? which is better to do?

That is the ''beauty of the New Covenant''....we can do ''good and essential work on the Sabbath for our and others wellbeing'' !!!

Why do some see a 'discussion as JUDGEMENT when there is disagreement ? or should we only communicate with each other when we agree ? that will not solve anything ! how could anyone be corrected or have an erronious opinion challenged ?
