13 And there we saw the Nephilim (sons of Anak are from the Nephilim), and we were in our eyes as grasshoppers, and so we were in their eyes. (Numbers 13:33)

Since there are Nephilim on the earth after the flood, someone in Noah's family must have been a Nephillim.
Dear trustinthename, According to the Tradition of the Church, the Nephilim are the descendats who came from the male descendants of Seth and the daughters of Cain. It was an intermarriage between the righteous line of Seth, and the unrighteous line of Cain, and produced foul results. It was something apparently God did not approve of. Most of the people from Seth were righteous before God, and most of the descendants of Cain were unrighteous. Seth, righteous, like father, like son. Cain, unrighteous, like father, like son.
Later on, however, Judaism had the view, in Ezekiel 18, that the son is not responsible for the sins of the father, and the father is not responsible for the sins of the son. Against the earlier view in Exodus, etc. of God's visiting the iniquity from generation to generation in some semblance of inherited sin if not inherited guilt. If I am not misreading the OT. Some of the OT is very hard to understand. Take care. God bless us. In Erie PA Scott Harrington

Numbers Chapter Thirteen , Is speaking of Moses Chooses The Spies .

Verse 33 . And there we saw Nephileem '' those who fell down to earth '' children of Anaq , who are of the Nephileem of the Ghibbore '' mighty ones '' , and we ourselfs in our own eyes were as < Khawgawb > Grasshoppers ' , and in their eyes as well

Anaqites < aramic > means '' Evil Ones '' The Anaqites were a tribe of Disagreeable Giants from the seed of Anaq < aramic > . The Anaqites are the tribe of Anaq wife of Samael . They raped the women of the ptahite tribe and bred a whole race of Anaqites on earth . There are five different tribes of Anaqites . They are here on 1 / 3 of the planet earth . Anaq < aramic > Also spelled Anak . Was the wife of Nakhash , Also know as Haylal son of Shakhar and Mylitta . Genesis 3 ; 4 , 24 , 6 ; 4 , 23 ; 2

Nephileems < aramic > Genesis 6 ; 4 , Are referred to as giants when you look in the english translation of The Bible you get the word giants for the Aramic ( Hebrew ) Nephileems , Which really means '' To Fall Down , Descend '' They were Anunnaqi . The Ohilistines were called giants . The word Nephileem takes its root from Nafala < arabic > Meaning Is '' Superogatory , Gift , Present , Superogatory performance , Being Above What Is Commanded , Or A Gift Over And Above What Is Asked ''

There are also Nephileems of a disagreeable nature which is described by the Hebrew word Naphal < aramic > Meaning '' He Fell '' They are known by several other names such as Ghiboreem < aramic > From the root ; '' He Prevailed '' . They were the first race of disagreeable giants to come down to the planet earth .

My question for you is this:

Were the sons of God angels? According to scripture, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." Romans 8:14

So in Genesis 6:2 "That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose."

I believe these "sons of God" are those who were led by the Spirit of God. Meaning, God's people at the time started mixing/breeding with surrounding tribes and civilizations.

And going down to chapter 4 "There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."

If you look up the word "giant" in the concordance, it means tyrant or bully, not necessarily a giant human-being. I don't believe fallen angels mixing with man-kind to be biblical.

I understand all the sciptires on this issue. Two points I'd like to make:

When answering the Pharisees, Jesus said that "in the ressurection men will BE LIKE ANGELS NEITHER MARRYING OR GIVEN IN MARRIAGE> Thus angels, fallen or otherwise, do not marry (have sex).

Secondly, the Law of God's Creation says that "each produced AFTER ITS OWN KIND. Just as a fig tree cannot produce watermelons, it would violate God's Law for a created supernatural being (Nephilim) to be able to produce contrary to this law.

I know it is a "pet" thepory of many that a race of fallen angels created a hybrid race of half humans half whatever, but it didn't happen.

God was talking about what angels do in heaven. Not fallen angels who were kicked out of heaven right? They didn't follow the rules in heaven so we know they aren't following any rules down here either.

In order for angels (spiritual beings) to reproduce with mankind, they would have to have 46 chromosomes. The would need reproductive organs and semen. Doesn't make sense.

Eve is the mother of all living, and she is to have respect because of the angels since she is their mother. You are simply regurgitating what somelse told you. And who ever said the Nephilim were 'fallen angels'? Again, you believe in assumptions.

For a truth, Adam and Eve were the only two beings created in the Beginning (just as Gen 1 & 2 prove), and Adam was created in the image (a man) of the LORD, and after HIs Likeness (light: EZ:1-26-28, 1Jn1:7). As such, they were the first 'angelic host': and from them were all others to come. If this is not so, then GEN ! & 2 are incomplete, and the LORD withheld the TRUTH. THus the nephilim must also be the children of Adam (or his descendant).

I'll bet everyone who reads this will not only say i am nuts, but also that GOD made us all 'taste' a physical death because Adam ate fruit which truly was good, edible fruit, but which was forbidden from being eaten. Would any of you kill your child, or even cut off his or her hand for such an offense? Well, GOD is more just than you, so neither did HE. We die (physically) because Adam lied to Eve in the Beginning. We all died spiritually the Day Adam first sinned.

Eve is the mother of angles? Never heard that one.

They're call Eloheem = God's , You Have Agreeable & Disagreeable Eloheem . Genesis 1 ; 1-4 ,
