NOTICE:
All who are offended by folks who believe themselves to be legitimately Jews, though not of birth, I am afraid you may have a streak of anti-Jew in you. If you do, you really should get all of that straightened out with the greatest Jew ever, Yeshua, or, if you prefer, Jesus. Do not bring your hang-ups into the CCR.

perhaps you should consider not offending the jews by taking the name they call themselves.

they don't understand the spiritual significance.
it's this sort of thing that is anti-jew.
the jews don't respect you for this, and christians wonder why you would be ashamed of the name christian.

Mark 6
Teaching at Nazareth
1Jesus went out from there and came into His hometown; and His disciples followed Him. 2When the Sabbath came, He began to teach in the synagogue; and the many listeners were astonished, saying, “Where did this man get these things, and what is this wisdom given to Him, and such miracles as these performed by His hands? 3“Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? Are not His sisters here with us?” And they took offense at Him. 4Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and among his own relatives and in his own household.” 5And He could do no miracle there except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. 6And He wondered at their unbelief.
And He was going around the villages teaching.

Luke 4 16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. And as was his custom, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read.

Matthew 2 12 And he went and lived in a city called Nazareth, that what was spoken by the prophets might be fulfilled: “He shall be called a Nazarene.”

John 1:45 Philip found Nathanael and told him, "We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote--Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."

John 1:46 "Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?" Nathanael asked. "Come and see," said Philip.

John 18:5 "Jesus of Nazareth," they replied. "I am he," Jesus said. (And Judas the traitor was standing there with them.)

The term Jew originates in the Biblical Hebrew word Yehudi meaning "from the Tribe of Judah", "from the Kingdom of Judah, or "Jew". This was translated into the Greek Ioudaios and Latin Iudaeus, from which the Old French giu was derived after dropping the letter "d", and later became the English word Jew.

You must read and learn who the true Jew is. I have never offended any Jew. When I was on my kibbutz, six months, the kibbutzniks, knowing I am not a Jew by birth, wanted me to become a kibbutznik. When I would write to them after, it would be published in the kibbutz paper..........as for religious or non-religious Jews you may judge this tree by its fruit.
Read in Romans, Paul's teaching on just who the true Jew is, and if this is not enough, read the teachings of Yeshua, Himself, believe them.
It is one thing to believe oneself a Jew by the teachings of the Word, and it is quite another to refuse to recognize the Kingdom of Yahweh and His children in denying them citizenship. No more to be said.

i know what romans says. did you skip over what i posted about Jesus?

so the jews on the kibbutz didn't mind you calling yourself a jew though you are a gentile?
or are you a jew by former familial and religious afflilation?

i won't even ask what you were hoping to do by kibbutzing when you're not jewish (if you're not - even if you were, so...did you go there with the Gospel? or to act like an unbelieving jew?)

as far as i know Jesus wasn't a communist.
and He most assuredly did not teach steal thy neighbor's land.

t is quite another to refuse to recognize the Kingdom of Yahweh and His children in denying them citizenship. No more to be said.
what are you talking about?
we're citizens by faith in Christ, not through race or any other thing.

why do you confuse the matter so much?

There is No justification (innocence) by rules and laws, they were a schoolmaster that convicted of sin the conviction of sin gives the opportunity to choose mercy or continue in my sin i.e. love sin, working spiritually on a seventh day or to say resting physically (very difficult to determine really what day that was reference to seventh day of creation and the seventh day of the law after exodus of Egypt?!) Now the contract with God is about a spiritual heart development by faith in the holy blood sacrifice of Jesus, our complete perfect Savior who pours His Life, Light and Agape in our spirit and soul by our faith (choice). The Law is not of this kind of faith (Gal.3:12). The Sabbath does not accomplish this only Jesus did and does now our spiritual growth is free from all the Laws that pointed to and convicted of sin, now we have the intimate Holy Spirit in us to teach and grow Agape of God in us these are specifically described in the simple writings of those who are the foundation stones of the new Testament those who are the Apostles and those who wrote that had personal daily living with Him. Christ redeemed us from laws rules and anything that was bondage to conviction of sin. Christ Jesus hung on the Cross for all curses resulting from missing the mark of perfection (sin Gal. 3:13) So the blessing of Abraham i.e. the Holy Spirit in us could come upon us and in us (Gal3:14 and following). The Law is not our school master of sin and missing the mark because it is the faith in the perfect Savior and His sacrifice that purchased our salvation (i.e. restoration of relationship that is in His life, light and Agape poured into our spirit and soul, this is the glory that left Adam we are born into naturally until faith in Jesus' work of restoration salvation.
We do not receive the Holy Spirit intimately in us by the observations of laws days and types shadows of the law and schoolmaster that convince us of sin. If you have been birth in the Holy Spirit why do you finish by a schoolmaster that only points out your sins? (Gal4:4-11)
To all who have been birth from above in the faith of the work of the Lord Jesus Christ the Seven Star General Commander and Chief of all the army of God in heaven of angels and redeemed mankind my desire is joy, peace and Agape be your teacher from the Holy Spirit of Freedom in our Lord of Almighty Agape.:)

Look there is something we agree on. The only way we can be part of the kingdom is by faith in Christ. To be part of literal Israel we have to be literally born into it. To be part of spiritual Israel who is the true Israel we have to be spiritually born into it, we have to be born again.

please show a single NT commandment to observe the Old Covenant Sabbath day.
if it is required ofr our salvation it will appear undiluted in the New Covenant Commandments of Jesus, both from His lips, and the instruction He gave to His apostles.

this is the 3rd request for you to show ONE SINGLE example of any New Testament figure, especially Jesus teaching sabbathkeeping.

where is it?
Doctrine is based on all the Bible not just one part of it. Do you know what the covenant is?
Exodus 34:28
(28) And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
Hebrews 10:16
(16) This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
2 Corinthians 3:3
(3) Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

This thread has much more info on the covenant

God don't talk to dead folks

Ecclesiastes 9:5 (KJV)
For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

The dead knows nothing, they can't communicate with the loving
The Lord "is God of the Living and the dead"
says so in the bible

and my view of Sabbath

yes we have to keep it holy and rest on that day.

But did Jesus rest on Sabbath which is Saturday?
no he was still working, he gave a parable that if a sheppard had 99 sheeps and 1 was lost on sabbath, wouldn't the sheppard look for the 1 and forgo the 99? and when he finds the 1 he would be joyful.

or is it wrong to heal on sabbath?

Jesus said love fulfils all commandments in the bible.
so if you love on sabbath, then you honoured the sabbath.

and sabbath is saturday!
the only way to determine is this.

Jesus died on Friday, Preparation day is 6pm friday, next day was sabbath which is saturday. Sunday was the next working day which Jesus rose.
Jesus died Friday- day 1
Saturday- day 2
Sunday- day 3
"destroy this temple and I will raise it again in 3 days"

are you putting to death violators of the Sabbath?

if you're not, you are the one not obeying it.

were your ancestors at Sinai?

picking and choosing from the Old Covenant - mixing it with the New.
this is apostasy.

how is it you do not understand what Jesus is saying here?

Mark 2 - 21 'And no one a patch of undressed cloth doth sew on an old garment, and if not -- the new filling it up doth take from the old and the rent doth become worse; 22 and no one doth put new wine into old skins, and if not -- the new wine doth burst the skins, and the wine is poured out, and the skins will be destroyed; but new wine into new skins is to be put.'
Putting people to death is not part of the Sabbath commandment. This is the commandment as God wrote it.
Exodus 20:8-11
(8) Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
(9) Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
(10) But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
(11) For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

yes, pick and choose.

were you at Sinai?
did God deliver you out Egypt?
did your ancestors keep the sabbath?
did they keep that Covenant or did they break it?
scripture says they broke it.
now you say they didn't.
or that it's been revived.
why are you trying to rebuild something God annulled?
does it do jews today any good to "keep the sabbath" (they don't either).

did a New Covenant come in?
what is the New Covenant?

Romans 11 27 "THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS."

Acts 2 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Isaiah 44 3 For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.

Joel 2 28 "And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.

John 17 1 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you

Acts 1 4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.

Acts 2 33 Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.

Acts 10 43 All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name."

Acts 13 38 "Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.

Ephesians 1 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace

Galatians 3 1O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? 2This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? 4Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain. 5He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

6Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. 7Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. 8And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. 9So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

10For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

15Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man's covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. 16Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

19Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. 20Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one. 21Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. 22But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

23But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. 24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

"Remember the seventh and keep it Set Apart" to me means remember and keep the exact literal seventh day.

"Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am YHWH that doth sanctify you."

"Not one stroke or dot shall pass from Torah until all has been fulfilled."

Question to me then, is whether or not I am a child of Israel, whether genetically or by being grafted in does not matter. And also, whether or not YHWH through Moses has "spoken" to me about this keeping of the sevenths.
I rest beginning or close to sundown on "friday" until the same on "saturday", and I have been extremely blessed in ways that I was not before practice. I also keep passover and other feasts, as well as I can research and understand them.
God bless you in the name of Jesus

You are obeying the voice of God

Not everyone has eyes to see something as simple as the Lord's day of worship

John 12:38-40 (KJV)
That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? [39] Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, [40] He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

Jesus created the sabbath for man
It does not say he created any other day for man

I don't think the people know the meaning of Holy, blessed , sanctified, rest remember , all these words are
associated with the sabbath

There is a reason the Lord said remember the sabbath
He knew people would forget .

It is one of the first 4 commandments on how we are to serve him

The first 4 commandments is how to serve Jesus

It is the day the Lord said keep holy

it is the day the Lord said do no work

it is the day the Lord said rest

It is the only day the Lord named

The sabbath is a sign between God and his servants

The sabbath is the only day we can't kindle a fire

The sabbath is part of the creation as is the sun, moon, stars, heaven ,light beast of the earth fish of the sea.

It is part of the creation and it was created after the earth was complete

Go back to Genesis 1 and read the creation

All the things in the creation is still with us

The sabbath is still with us

What type of work do the Lord do?

Provide the scripture for support

Jesus said that he would be in the grave for 3 days ad 3 nights

Matthew 12:38-40 (KJV)
Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. [39] But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: [40] For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Tell me how do you get 3 days and 3 nights from 6:00pm Friday to early Sunday morning

Impossible!

In repeating the teachings of the Word here, it seems some, not all, hearing do not hear and seeing do not see. The Kindom of Yahweh is all of BOTH flocks, yet it is taken to mean blood lineage. It seems folks see only what they want to see and hear only what they want to hear. If these do not turn and listen to the Word as it is given, they may answer to Yahweh. I cannot help them any further.
