Suzannah, we are all on a journey - our aim should be humility. It seems you aren't even trying.

We all know what you are trying to get across but there are ways and means..

You know, you have yet to explain what makes you an authority. I saw on one thread that those with discernment would know your gifts.. I dont need to use discernment to know what you got going on. Every reply you have is a roadrunner tactic. Seriously, your answer strategies are like an atheists. (Once again, not saying you are)

You speak humility? Try it sometime. You most certainly are not humble. You want to know your true colors? Look at how you replied to MadParrot. She did not address you directly.. Yet, you fired directly back at her. YOU HYPOCRITE!

You have used this thread as a platform for your own exaltation and righteousness. For 19 pages you have boasted how you are holier than anyone else on this forum. You dont come out and say it, but you dont have to. This, this is what the secular world sees in Christianity. They see what you do. This is why they deny Christ. Because they deny you and bible thumping first.

I'm in ministry.. I know what works. What type of ministry are you in?

Your aim seems to me to be controversy - plain and simple, I have seen you post on other topics and it's plain you just like to stir-up trouble and bad feeling. I have seen you rebuke members that have been here for years who are sweet and decent. Actually I'm surprised you are still here as I have seen fit to report you on one occasion.

There seems to be a misunderstanding of the Great Commission here.

Matthew 28:19 (KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Verse 19 tells us to go and teach all nations. In verse 20 it tells us what to teach. Verse 19 tells us what the result of teaching will be. Finally, verse 20 tells us what blessing we will receive when we go and teach. If you are having trouble deciding what to teach, I suggest that you take the time to read the words of Jesus.

The Great Commission is not accomplished by sharing the plan of salvation, although that is part of it, it is accomplished by teaching what Christ expects of your student.

There is no misunderstanding. You are correct in your assertion that it is part of it. That is what this OP is geared towards.
Soul winning is of utmost importance.
But that wold mean people need to carry their cross as Christ intended.

Jesus and his apostles ministry was of great controversy. Jesus was crucified and the apostles were all persecuted. People cant handle the TRUTH. The divide of those who are willing and those who are not is greater than ever before. But the mega church is growing isnt it?

Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

I sit in a pew on Saturday. I agree that is not witnessing to the lost. I'm just there to worship the Lord. Sorry for the slight (yet again). If you lack empathy then I lack direction. I probably could use some prayer myself.

You don't speak for me. I do know why I 'bother' with her; it is because she is a beloved sister in Christ.

Her issue was not about people helping other's with their grocery bill, it was concerning the posting about it on CC.

You are a good man on the right spiritual path in your walk with the Lord. You set a good example for others to emulate and your behavior as a member of the community is exemplary.
