I guess my next question would be,

All infants who die, do you think that their souls go to hell, or what?
They will not go to hell (even under the law) because they were born in sin (sinful nature) and not with sin.

???

Your Comment #71: All have sinned...etc., I think that it was Paul who said that.

Clarification please........as it would relate to Comment #69:

You are saying Jesus sinned? Seriously? If you are saying Jesus sinned........well, there is really no need to continue this discussion.

Your opinion please,

Was Paul saying Jesus was a sinner?

I love a good paradox.

But sin is not imputed where there is no law. v 13
We are not imputed the sin of Adam, we are born with the consequences of his sin (spiritual and physical death), with a sinful nature.

All infants who die, do you think that their souls go to hell, or what?
I don't know.

I don't know.
We die a spiritual death when we sin, but not before that.

Infants do not inherit iniquity (sin) on their souls from their parents.

Yes, we get the consequences of Adam's sin,

Physical death and a sinful "nature".

But a soul is not guilty of sin, until the soul itself sins.

You cannot charge a sin against a soul, until the soul itself has committed a sin.

Or we sin because we are spiritually dead (separated from God)...?

The new borns do not inherit the guilt or the iniquity. Sin, in their case is more like a wound, a disease, a state. But they are innocents, yes. But even if they are innocents thy still need to unite with Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, not because they are guilty, but because they are born in a sinful existential state. They are not in the state that Adam was before sinning.

I do not know very good how to explain myself, but I agree with you that babies are innocent, however, they too need Jesus Christ.

If a person is filled with the Holy Spirit, can he sin? I believe NO. To be filled with Holy Spirit is to be filled with God Himself. And John the baptist was filled with Holy Spirit from his mothers womb. That is why Jesus said he was the greatest born from man/flesh. He was Elias. Born Holy because God said so in Malachi.

Matthew 11:11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

1Co 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
Looks like there are two types of babies born.

What sin has an infant committed against God?

Are you teaching original sin?
The issue is not that a particular infant has committed a particular sin against God. Rather, that humanity as a whole is sinful. "For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all" (Romans 11:32). As I explained, if any person is sinless, they don't need a Saviour. It makes far more sense to me that 'all' means exactly that. In Adam, all die. In Christ, we may all be redeemed. If you want to teach that children are born 'sinless', you must explain why 'all' doesn't mean what it usually means. :)

I'm not sure what you mean by "original sin"... it's possible that your understanding of the term is different than mine. If you care to explain I can respond. The way I see it, humankind was tainted with sin by Adam. We all inherited the inclination to sin, to choose our own way.

He was not! :)

The Apostle Paul knew full well that Jesus the Christ was fully God and fully Man, and was WITHOUT SIN. How do I know this? "cuz he said so........ :)

I am enjoying this BTW......... :)

Jesus Christ was NOT born in sin IN ANY WAY.

I also believe that John the Baptist was not either. Not saying that is Biblical Truth, saying it is my opinion, based on the evidence I have reviewed from Scripture.

Here is a verse p_rehbein i think you will like.

Hebrews 4:15
[SUP]15 [/SUP]For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.

Or was it Jesus and Mary that was the one's born without sin like the Catholics teach? IF Mary was born without sin could there be others also who were born with sin?

I believe only Jesus was born without sin! What do you believe?
"For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Rom3:23)
Amen! The Bible gives us no reason to believe that Mary was sinless. In fact, the Bible gives us every reason to believe that Jesus Christ is the only Person who was not "infected" by sin and never committed a sin (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:23; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Peter 2:22). So ALL have sinned (including Mary) and come short of the glory of God (except Jesus).

Luke 1:46 - And Mary said: "My soul magnifies the Lord, 47 And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. Mary needed a Savior just like the rest of us. The Roman Catholic church dogmatically teaches that Mary was conceived without sin. So, the doctrine of the immaculate conception is neither Biblical nor necessary. Jesus was miraculously conceived inside Mary, who was a virgin at the time. That is the Biblical concept of the virgin birth.

Jesus is the only human being born without a sin nature.
This is not correct......Both Jesus and Adam had the same nature.......the difference is Adam sinned whereas Jesus though tempted in all manner as we are tempted did not sin.....

[SUP]5 [/SUP]There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. [SUP]6 [/SUP]And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. [SUP]7 [/SUP]But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years.

[SUP]8 [/SUP]So it was, that while he was serving as priest before God in the order of his division, [SUP]9 [/SUP]according to the custom of the priesthood, his lot fell to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. [SUP]10 [/SUP]And the whole multitude of the people was praying outside at the hour of incense. [SUP]11 [/SUP]Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense. [SUP]12 [/SUP]And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. [SUP]14 [/SUP]And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth. [SUP]15 [/SUP]For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb. [SUP]16 [/SUP]And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God. [SUP]17 [/SUP]He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” Luke 1:5-17

[SUP]26 [/SUP]Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, [SUP]27 [/SUP]to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. [SUP]28 [/SUP]And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”

[SUP]29 [/SUP]But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. [SUP]30 [/SUP]Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. [SUP]31 [/SUP]And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. [SUP]32 [/SUP]He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. [SUP]33 [/SUP]And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” Luke 1:26-33

It says Elizabeth and Zacharias, was righteous and blameless. We don't know if John ever sinned, he could have followed parents footsteps.
