Why do theologians say the USA isn't mentioned in prophecy? See Rev 12

This has to be the dumbest OP I have ever read. You took an idea you wanted to be true, and forced the text to say something it did not say! That is called eisegesis or reading into the text, and it is bad hermeneutics, or bad Bible interpretation.

My advice is that you take a class, online or in person, of what good hermeneutics is. Worse than the Mormons!

The US is NEVER mentioned in the Bible. And you may not know this, but this is an international site, not American forum, there are many people here who are not American. So sorry, you are not preaching to the faithful.
From a Mark Twain boy down south of your wonderful country...….hooray for you post...…….so true.

Having had the blessing and opportunities to traqvel somewhat extensively in the developed nations, I ha v witnessed time and time again people from just about any given country touting themselves as being "The Ones being mentioned in the Word. Yes, that is true, but they all have to realize we are all "The Ones.
"
Some people even believe our Fathe waves their country¡s flag. never.

All countries have some wonderful folks in them, that being those who are on the Way, and many whom only our Gather knows are true to Him....................and so it goes. O Canada, you are so beautiful.

The USA is the only major nation in the world that has it's origins in Judeo-Christian values and is clothed in the Son.
Former prime minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau said, “The golden thread of faith is woven throughout the history of Canada from its earliest beginnings up to the present time. Faith was more important than commerce in the minds of the European explorers and settlers.” … You really can’t understand Canada until you understand the central role the Christian faith had in the founding and shaping of Canada. source

By all means, proceed! I do ask one thing, please only cit the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution.

Please do not quote any revisionistic writings of our time.

An interesting note about countries putting themselves into the Bible with specifics but not the Holy Spirit.

Many in the UK believe the throne of England is the throne of David...…………...and even worse...…..

Why do people continuou8sly try to make God a citizen of their own country? Oh yea, they like to feel superior.

Hi Maxwell!

I thought the part about the American flag being on the moon as being proof that the woman is the USA was pure conjecture . Russia and China have things up on the moon too. With this kind of reasoning, you could make these symbols anything you want. However, scripture will always reveal what the symbolism represents. See Genesis 37:9-10 for scripture's identity of the sun, moon and stars.

The first man-made object to reach the moon was the Soviet Luna 2 probe, which struck the surface in September 1959

I think you need to read the warning written concerning adding or taking away from the book, and repent.

What about Finland? The Bible does use the word "land" many times. The word "Fin" is in the Bible too, in words like "Finished"

Yup. ITS IN THERE!

Canada's in there too... if you know how to read the non-equidistant letter sequence code.

"Can anything good come out of Nazareth?"

It isn't mentioned but does not mean that the USA will not play a significant part in end-time events. Bible mentions something about coastlands and an eagle though. Very interesting reference, especially the eagle part.

If it is mentioned, show us where! Then we can exegete the passage and discuss it!
