Jesus responds to faith PennEd. I can't heal anyone.

Your questions seem immature to me. I thought better of you.

Why only those two? Famine....heavens shut up....widow...

2 Kings 5:8 And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.

They wanted to kill Jesus for these words.
Umm.... Because it was the Will of the Lord? Isn't that what we have been saying all along?

Now how about the healing?

Again, you're dodging. What about YOUR faith to heal them?

I asked the Lord what should be a response to this PennEd.

This is what I was given..

23 And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.

Luk 4:24 And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.

Luk 4:25 But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

Luk 4:26 But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.

Luk 4:27 And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

Luk 4:28 And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,

Luk 4:29 And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.

Luk 4:30 But he passing through the midst of them went his way,

You can be very ugly sometimes sister.

Well this sounds like you're saying i, my friend and sister, don't have faith.

What about YOUR faith Stones? Why cannot YOU heal them?
The point should be why PennEd. Not question...can?

Ed is not seeking to kill Jesus. He is seeking to expose poisonous leaven of men. Please stop saying God gave you that reply for him. We are not without discernment.

Thank you for sticking up for me sister. But its ok. I love Stones. I'm just trying to put to rest this destructive doctrine once and for all.

I think it makes them uncomfortable when you put the onus on THEIR faith.

It makes me soooooo angry when someone is told that they are not healed, because either they don't have enough faith, or any at all. Let's take a look at how much faith God says we need: a mustard seed size. Every seen how small they are? Pretty dang small... lol

And there are several here, who tell people that. One of whom denied it to my face the other day...

Ya know, if we could heal others, we would. If we could heal ourselves, we would. But we can't. I've had laying on of hands, and been prayed over for healing. And, no big surprise, it DID NOT work...

When I was younger it seemed I was healed many times, especially of burns.

Now that I am becoming almost mature, whatever comes my way I consider
just another step towards resting or being with our Savior.

I lost the vision in one eye to the wet version of macular degeneration. Upon
examination the other eye showed the movement of the stain also
in my right eye. I had already thanked God for the loss in theone eye,and I
offered Him the right eye as well should it be His will.....thanking Him all
the while. I will not say I did not confess with the offering that I let
it be known to Him that I preferred to keep some vision.

A miracle ensued. I lost most of the vision in the good eye, and it came back a few weeks
later. This is a miracle because md does not reverse itself ever. Boy! That was a close one.

Since I have indeed been losing vision bit by bit, and I do thank God, for it is replaced by a
more profound vision which I cherish.

Now I also have a touch of cervical arthrosis or degenerating bone in the cerv ical v ertabrae. Occasionally
one arm or both go numb, I have had a very bad headache or two, and at times dizziness that seems to
give me the impression I am being hurled over one way or another.

Praise God it has not worsened........

There are other steps up to the Lord, and all of them are just reminders that this old body
is allied to corruption............but a new, incorruptible body awaits us all, halleluyah, amen.

Praise God for every thing, good bad or indifferent........it is wonderul.....

What does that have to do with price of tea in China?

Why can't YOUR faith heal them?

Is it because it's not God's Will for you to do so?
In that awful, nauseating video Joanie posted for stones to watch, hagin said: I could heal anyone. IF I had the time to stay with you for 6 months. But I don't have the time to stay with you. It was disgusting.

Personally, I don't put much stock into laying on healing. May work for some, but not for all..
