I've posted several times about how we see the scriptures, how we view God. And this poem was given concerning this very thing.
[h=3]Unlocked sight![/h]
Who do we see when we look on Him
Son of God, or son of men?
Saviour.. Lord.. or King to rule?
Puppet? for our strings to pull?
How we see is how we'll move
How we hear, our hearts will groove
the path of life for us to take;
This path of life decides our fate.
Will it lead us to the truth
of why He came...why He was birthed
in human form, yet not of earth?
This..... we must see..
Truth is simple, yet complex
Many stumble...many vexed
It's only those who see their need
of blood to purge out sinful deeds.
For sin is in the heart of man
But many...on their pride will stand.
and those who cannot humble be?
Great loss, regret, heaped then on thee.
For then we see Him in His glory
Love pours out of Heavens story
Why wait then to bow the knee?
For faith is what gives eyes to see.
We see salvation as saved from sin. Inability to be anything but saved by the blood of Jesus This is foundational truth. There is nothing else that guarantees heaven or entrance into heaven. This is a wonderful gift that Father has given us in His sacrifice. It is Passover. But, theres debates concerning this here on the forums.
So we go through Jesus for anything we receive.
Our walk should be building on the foundation. We take heed to how we build. Will we build based on truth? We find then that truth is a person. So in finding out His will for anything, we look to Jesus. Whatever He did is the truth that we follow in His written Word.
He is also the way. His way was to put down anything that would deter Him from His call. He fought temptation, and lies of the enemy. Overthrew him in the wilderness. Not so with Israel. They fell in the wilderness. It took a new generation to enter the promise. You want to know why the first church fizzled out so to speak? Look to the Word. Have you fought tooth and nail of the serpent? No fingers pointed. I look at myself only to judge. Just asking a question to consider.
Hes the life! His very blood is life, and is eternal in the heavens, but also on the earth where spilled.
Here is where I spoke before about communion. Is it just symbolic as churches mostly teach? Or is there actually an exchange by faith to receive His life? And His health?
This is what I would give to one who is sick. And if I hear, lay hands, I lay hands. If not? Not. For I'm not a prophet nor an apostle. There are true prophets and apostles. Both move in miracles.
I will tell you this truthfully. My neighbor who became a close friend, was in the hospital suffering terribly from lung cancer. This was about 15 years ago. What she was going through was so horrible. I knew it as a nurse who suctioned many people. And saw the sufferings of them all.
I asked another friend who has unusual faith to go with me to pray for her. As I was about to lay hands on her, Holy Spirit spoke in my spirit, and said, "I'm taking her home".
So yes, PennEd, when He speaks it's His will. Because of this fact....Jesus only did, and said, what He heard and saw.
She was ready to go home. It was what she wanted. In the state she was in, I can't blame her. Nor would I ever condemn her as having not enough faith. Not do I condemn anyone here nor judge a lack of faith. I would however, ask the question, have you given up..? But, not ever meant to be as a judgement.
The rhema Word is what we live by. Until we hear or see. We trust His written word. And we search and seek in the written Word to know Him as He is. Jesus, the same, yesterday, today and forever.
Ive said, I'm faith in His Word.
Have you asked about your friends child? If so, what have you heard?
This one last thing I want to say. We can be easily misunderstood here on the forums as to what actually someone is saying. And I can do the same. I would think that when we come to know one another it would be easier to give grace to each other.
But, suspicion seems to be reigning here. And that is not discerning of spirits.
