This means to allow the husband to love, nurture, take care of her and to provide for all of her needs.

why did you change my question?

I did not ask what submission means

I asked one person what they IN PARTICULAR thought it meant

the way you describe submission sounds more like what I do for my dog

Proverbs 31 does not subscribe a faithful godly woman as something to be kept and 'nurtured'

Articles are opinions about scripture, they are not scriptures by themselves. If one understands a particular scripture, they don't need articles to reassure themselves.

There's no verse you are going to quote that can undo this:

1 Tim 2:11A woman must learn in quietness and full submissiveness. 12I do not permit a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man; she is to remain quiet.

Not unless the verse says something like:

"a woman must speak, i do not permit a woman to remain silent.."

Otherwise you are wasting your time. Do not quote me verses about women speaking, of course women must speak but can not teach men. Do not quote me verses about women holding certain positions or doing certain roles, they can do as much as they want but must not teach men.
So why was Paul obviously okay with Priscilla teaching Apollos? Why does Paul name her before her husband Aquila?

Not usurping authority over "", against what has been established (by God). For example:

I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man;c she is to remain quiet.
1 Tim 2:12

so, I ask you what you think FULL submissiveness is...since that is the expression you used and you quote a Bible verse

but I asked what full submissiveness means to YOU...I know what the Bible states

this thread is a wonderland of misapplied scripture and deliberate twisting of the same

if all you can do is quote a verse from the Bible for an answer, I guess that means your wife can quote the Bible and use verses any time you do something that is different from what God tells YOU to do regarding your wife or ANYTHING else

what is good for one must be good for the other since God states there is neither male nor female in Christ Jesus...which means He treats us all the same and does not prefer men over women or vice versa

Articles aside because there are also many articles that speak about men having authority over women.

Where are these scriptures that disprove 1 Tim 2 or disprove my views?

My view: A woman must learn in quietness and full submissiveness.
And once she has learned, then what?

I have told you already; "usurp authority" is a terrible translation. The word for "authority" doesn't even appear in the Greek. Your argument is circular.

Because I could not resist doing that. My wife says what is mine is hers and what is hers is hers. She thinks it is my job to provide for all her wants, needs and desires, so I just play along with her.

I don't care what your wife thinks. she didn't contribute to the Bible

you are either gullible (which I doubt) or you think you are smarter...I will leave that to the reader to decide

Your last statement is true meaning of misapplied scripture. Male is still a male and female is still a female. Why is it an abomination to God for a man to sleep with another man if you think in Christ there is no male or female?

What does God tell me to do regarding my wife apart from love her?

Full submissiveness? see the way you submit to Christ, in the same manner.

Eph 5:22Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord

What does that say to unmarried women, or to any women relating to any man other than her husband?

Nothing!

and do you completely and fully submit to Christ ?

did He give you the authority to tell people they are completely wrong because they expose your error(s)?

you are very intolerant and that does not bode well for a marriage relationship

if you say yes, then you cannot ignore ALL that the scripture says about relationships

but it seems you are stuck on one verse because it appeals to you

They did not assume authority over a man in that they did not become Apollos teacher rather corrected his doctrine once.

Wives to their husband is just like women to men (1 Tim 2)- same issue. Men have authority over women not because of anything but God's will according to creation as we see in Genesis.

It might be a terrible translation but the meaning is not lost because from Paul's argument about man being created before the woman, makes it about authority and nothing else.

1 Tim 2:13For Adam was formed first, then Eve.

1 Cor 11: 8For man did not come from woman, but woman from man. 9Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.

Above is Paul's argument
