Good question. But even if he does repent of his sins, that doesn't mean he won't rape someone else when he gets out.. People repent their sins, but yet still repeat that same sin over and over..
Despite not wanting to, we still do have to look at the facts. Which we are not doing.

As Tommy pointed out, he didn't "legally" rape anyone. And she is no help since she stated that she remembers nothing, at all.

So, again, as Tommy said, it seems the judge may have called it right. I just happen to think the law needs some revision.

But does she legitimately not remember, because he drugged her? Or is she just crying wolf?

You can forgive in a spiritual sense and still uphold legal standards that punish crime ...just as God has clearly ordained.
In his situation, though, he can't be charged of the same crime (unless if he goes off and rapes/sexually assaults another woman, of course. But even then, it's a different crime). Yes this is all because the judge has Stanford ties, and he should be serving a lot more time, but if by whatever chance he does come to Christ, I don't think we hold this over his head because Christ would wash away his sins. It wouldn't be fair for us to bring it up. Is this unlikely? Maybe. But it is still possible, and worth looking at from a different perspective.

That emotional advantage is expected and exploited. One good reason those classes where you get to physically practice this stuff is very beneficial. You do need to get used to and comfortable with using that defense, and let it become kind of second-nature to you.
The mentally ill are particularly vunerable to sexual exploitation.

Castrated rapists would just become arsonists or burglars. That only serves to end the means they used to exert control. But the core problem isn't resolved. That's like having cancer and you stop using Splenda thinking it will cure cancer.

Actually, it is more likely they will become woman beaters and even murderers. It is women they feel the need to have power over.

Anyone notice his eyes? To me those look like the eyes of a psychopath. I know we're not supposed to judge on appearances, but something's just not right about that look...

They say the eyes are the window to a person's soul. So yeah, I believe you can tell a killer or psychopath, just by looking at their eyes.. They usually have a wild, empty look to them. His eyes look the same as Adam Lanza's eyes, IMO..

There's actually a psychological link between rapists, arsonists and burglars.

You're making me chuckle. The "link" that has been studied is that all three, but only if they are serial in commission, is that they tend to each choose a particular geographical area, and stick pretty much to that part of town.

The motives, other than maybe a "thrill" factor present in most illegal activities, are quite different in all three.

Whenever somebody says "castration" my immediate internal response is "EIGHTH AMENDMENT!"

Nothing is excessive or cruel and unusual if the present powers in charge decide they want to do it.

IMO, if rapists can't handle the consequences of their crime, they should think twice before they commit that/those crime(s)..

How true. Might does not make right, but that is not to say that might acts and establishes standards with willful blindness.

Yeah like guys convicted of misdemeanor sexual battery for slapping a girl on the rear, spending the rest of their lives on the sex offender registry.

I think that is victimizing girls, and I think that we should be real careful about doing that out of respect for victims of real sexual battery. Back whenever I was a young girl/teenager, we handled boys doing that in our manner...but police...oh no...lol

Absolutely. And inebriated "Palm Tree Pissers." That sickening "Registry" has ruined more kid's lives!
