I don't know when the right time to cry is, but I can say that I can't even remember the last time I cried. I'm not trying to promote the whole "Ya I'm a guy and really tough and NEVER CRY!!!" thing, but I think there is a big difference between someone crying and someone having a good reason to cry.

Crying over a movie/book/anything like that just doesn't make sense to me, but that may be that I just don't understand it. I mean I also don't see a good reason to cry over having a child born, I've never been quite sure on how being happy turns to the point of tears.

There is a difference between crying and getting teary-eyed. So getting teary is okay but full on crying? I guess that depends on the situation.

Death of a family member or friend. Even soldiers cry if their friend is killed. Watch any decent war movie, not to mention ask any real life soldier. If he didnt cry, he would be a heartless killer.

lightbliss I understand your signature. LOL. Is it from a movie or something?

I think it is fine for a man to cry. Although I have never really seen my husband full on cry. He can get teary eyed, is that the same thing? Anyway, except for when his mother was in the hospital and they thought she was going to die, He really doesnt cry, he more gets mad or sad, or just wants to be alone (maybe then he cries, when he is alone). I have to day that it does scare me when he gets upset, because he is the rock and foundation of this household so without him, I am not sure what would happen.

No, its actually from a gospel song, I can't think of its name. It's probably in scripture too (maybe not the exact words).

So you would cry if you got a paper cut then? Or if you saw a cute duckling?
If I saw a cute Duckling, absolutely. I would also cry if my big strong man sent me a Pajamagram.

I think it is always ok for a man to cry, I cry all the time and I love animals. I don't see any problem with that. I don't believe in 'manly' and 'not manly' I think its just a bunch of bull. Just look at my chat notice.

If only gay men are allowed to cry, does that mean us girls are not allowed to cry as well? And if we do, does that make us gay men??? :p
