I am not aware of anyone trying to pass a law that worshipping an other god other than worshipping Jesus is illegal, especially not on this forum, so if you could direct me to that post I would appreciate it.
I do know the Noahide laws are making it illegal to worship Jesus, that is something that is real, so as usual this assumed threat of Christian nationalism is likely projection, at least in part by those trying to outlaw Evangelical Christians.
Also, passing a law against abortion being practiced is simply democracy in action. It is pure evil to assume that aborting babies is an inherent right that society should support.
As for making homosexuality a crime that sounds like legalism, and it is far more common in Muslim countries so I see no reason to characterize that as "Christian nationalism". I think that is simply legalism or extremism and does not come with a Christian brand.
I think you make some really good points here.
We often hear, "Christians shouldn't impose morals through legislation."
But ALL LAWS are an imposition of SOMEONE'S morals... through legislation.
All laws are an act of some party imposing their morals upon society.... that's what laws are.
So what about Christian Nationalism?
First we have to define it, and everyone has a different definition.
It's a pretty ambiguous term, that can mean just about anything, and is predominantly just used to smear people.
So how do I feel about Christian Nationalism?
That depends on your definition.
Primarily... I don't really think about it at all.
