QUESTION:
is anyone who does not belong to Christ Abraham's descendant?
QUESTION:
is anyone who does not belong to Christ an heir according to the promise?
QUESTION:
do you know what the promise is?
The promise was the giving of the Spirit which was the Spirit of promise (Gal 3:14, Eph 1:13). They are an heir according to the promise of the Spirit. Anyone who believes is sealed by that promise of the Spirit. John 16:7
N-e-w-ope. . .the Promise in Gal 3:17 was to Abraham that he would be a blessing to all nations, which was fulfilled in Christ Jesus.
The Promise of Gal 3:17 is
Christ.
The promise of the
Spirit in Ac 2:38-39 was given at the Last Supper (Jn 14:1618, 15:26, 16:7).
This does not change who the apostle Paul was or any of the Jews who believed. By the same token that there is no male or female, there is also no Jew or Greek because we all are espoused unto one husband (the Lord) in one body as the bride of Christ.
That does not stop Israel from being a nation of people that God will deal with during the time of the tribulation after this one body and bride is caught away in the clouds of the air to forever be with the Lord. Wake up and smell that sweet savour and those who have been redeemed as his bride and take notice
I take note that this is contrary to NT teaching.
All those not included in the New Jerusalem, which is
the Bride of the Lamb (Rev 21:9-14, 1-2) and the body of Christ,
are outside dogs, sorcerers and whoremongers (Rev 22:14-15).
And that's where you have put your believing Israel when you put them
outside the Bride of the Lamb.
of the greatest of God's mercy that is coming to deal with Israel, his elect and precious people who he has called by his name.
And there you have it. . .God's plan to glorify himself through Christ by placing all things under his feet
and appointing him to be head of everything for the sake of the church, which is the Bride of the Lamb
and his body, the fullness of him (Eph 1:23) in the two-in-one enfleshment of the marital union
(Eph 5:31-32), plays second fiddle to God's "greatest mercy" in dealing with Israel.
See how the slightest deviation from the word of God invariably and inevitably leads to another gospel?
ANATHEMA!
