there were seven feasts the Lord gave to his people: Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, the Feast of Weeks, Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles. These are summarized in Leviticus 23 and Numbers 28-29.
They were given to celebrate certain things on certain days. But each of them also pointed forward to certain prophetic events about Christ that would be fulfilled on the days they were celebrated. This is interesting, because the word convocation" in Hebrew is "mik-RAW," which also means "rehearsal."
These feasts were rehearsals for what was to come. The Scriptures tell us...
Col. 2:16-17 ...Let no one act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day - things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.
This is what Jesus meant when He said,
Matt. 5:17 "Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.

And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be a Holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
Acts 2:1-4 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of Fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost (Spirit), and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Pentecost is another Harvest Feast a feast of receiving of the Holy Spirit

however the 7th day will always be the 7th day the 1st day will always be the first day of the week the cycle cannot be broken because God word is also fulfilled according to time
There are 7 other mandatory Sabbaths under the Old Covenant: All punishable by death for disobedience. They carried the same importance as the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day Sabbath. If you’re going to keep one you have to keep them all among other observances that go with them.
The Day of Atonement
“It is a Sabbath of solemn rest for you, and you shall afflict your souls. It is a statute forever” (a Sabbath)
Feast of Trumpets
‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a Sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it;’” (a Sabbath)
Feast of Unleavened Bread (seven days you must eat unleavened bread)
- On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it (a Sabbath).
- The seventh day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it. (a Sabbath)
The Feast of Weeks
“And you shall proclaim on the same day that it is a holy convocation to you. You shall do no customarywork on it. It shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.” (a Sabbath)
The Feast of Tabernacles
- “On the first day there shall be a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it.” (a Sabbath)
- “On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. It is a sacred assembly, and you shall do no customary work on it.” (a Sabbath)
The Seventh Day is the Sabbath of the Lord, this is the distinction from the other named sabbaths in the Word. It is a name, and it is a designated-by-Yahweh Day.
Always, if a person celebrates the Sabbath of the Lord on the first day with a clear conscience in the sight of the Father, I know there is no sin, but I cannot fathom how anyone could believe flesh could change the Word of Yahweh. This is the difference between believing Yahweh and believing man, for me anyway. Children hear their Father's voice; He is the Good Shepherd. Please do not let that last line become a debate.

Why do people think that the most Christian celebrate the Sabbath on the first day of the week? That's not a replacement sabbath, that's entirely different day. To honor the resurrection, glorify the Lord, and fellowship with believers. The Sabbath will always be on the seventh day, but to observe it as the OT depicts was symbolic for the rest in the salvation of God. So we who go to church on the first day of the week do it to honor Jesus and fellowship and learn. And the Sabbath to us is everyday through Jesus. Now there are some Christians that believe the first is the Sabbath. Let that be what they find best through Jesus our Lord.
And the other Sabbaths were distinct from the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day Sabbath as they were distinct from each other and each had their own meaning. They all came from the mind of the Lord thus they all come from the Lord. The same argument that is used to keep one can be used to keep them all.
I do not understand it the way you have positioned it. All I wish to convey is the Seventh Day is the Sabbath of the Lord. He named it so. As for the other sabbaths, I have studied them, and continue reading all of the Word, and those sabbaths deal with feasts named also by the Lord. There is no argument here, not with you, and not with the Word. The main point of my post is that I, personally, cannot believe flesh before I believe our Father's Word. This is not an argument, it is sharing what I believe.

Reread the post you quote. No one has rejected anything in these words accept for flesh ammending the Word of Yahweh. Are you one of them? I can say, I am not. As for standards, there is no standard for the perfection of Yahweh's Word. Men have standards.

Remember the Sabbath is more than your daily sacrifice of honoring the resurrection and glorifying the Lord, The Sabbath Day is Holy meaning different than the rest of the week. You should offer up praises to the LOrd daily. But the Sabbath was given as a rest. And I will tell you, it is much harder to do than you think.
