And yet you persist in attempting to add to it? What is wrong with you? Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost.
Obedience to Christ is part of it, Heb 5:9.

Take a step back and look at yourself. You are asserting that since some will not get saved that none are saved. John 3:18-19 Jesus tells us why many are not saved. We also know from other references that it is not Gods will that any should perish. What shall we make of a man that thinks he knows more than God?

You are saying what Christ did on the cross is enough for man to be saved and therefore man has to do nothing.
My question is then why isn't every man saved if Chris't work is all that is needed for man to be saved?
YOu say Jn 3:18,19 explains why all men will not be saved which says:
[SUP]18 [/SUP]He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
So are you know saying Christ's work is not finished without you believing? So you have to ADD YOUR BELIVING to Christ's finished work?
Combining Jn 3:18,19 with Heb 5:9 we see that not believng is the same as not obeying...Jn 3:36 ASV "
He that believeth on the Son hath eternal life; but he that obeyeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him."
So only those that conditionally obey/believe take advantage of Christ work on the cross and the obedience/belief earn nothing but are necessary conditions upon the free gift of salvation.
