You was already shown what God said when he gave it.
How did God introduce the Law to Moses and Israel?
What was the motivation and purpose behind it when He gave it to them?
Was it part of a covenant?
What were the parts and terms of the covenant?
What were Israel's responsibilities?
What were God's responsibilities?
What were the blessings promised?
What were the consequences promised?

These are good questions to ask and answer when attempting to understand the Law.

Why is there a misunderstanding about how we keep the law? When we accept Christ as our Savior we receive the HS, That makes a difference in all parts of our life, our understanding, actions, and what we do as we give ourselves over to this leading. We agree this HS is of God, so of course God's laws would be included in the whole package. What we don't seem to agree on is what can be eliminated from the whole of God. I don't see how some can say that parts of God's word can be eliminated and still follow God?

Even when Christ became the lamb of God, and we were not to use animal blood any more, it was a big change but blood was not eliminated. In spirit and truth, as we are to read scripture as well as see the literal of scripture, nothing is eliminated, only changed. It was still blood. Anyone who reads scripture only literally, knows nothing about what scripture says, but those who read it without including any of the literal also are not reading it correctly. God eliminated nothing He said God is truth and the same always.
You said what can be eliminated? Fighting of flesh in others must see what each other says as if I am right and others are wrong except who i agree with, That is what is slowly but surely being eliminated as we all are in love to God for God and what God has done for us, not condemned us
Father thank you for this Mercy, Mercy I have received Mercy I shall give, and thank you for
I trust you to continue to teach me and grow into maturity to love all, not just those that agree with what I say or not

You all are missing a key truth of God's holy WORD, His LAW. It was given to cleanse a sinner of his evil ways. Please be more careful.! Psa.119:1-16 verses 9-10 "How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your words. With my whole heart I have sought You; oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!" We are to do the same today, We are to order our lives according to all the New Testament. Rom. 7 teach us that Paul loved the WORD of God, laws of God and keep the commands of Jesus with his whole heart.
By the hidden man of his heart, not by his flesh right?

What say you about Peter walking on water? (Matt. 14:22-33). When Jesus (the rabbi/teacher) walked on water, Peter (the talmid/student) wanted to be like him. Do you think Peter had walked on water before or have even imagined doing so. However, if the teacher, who chose me because he believed I could be like him, can do it so must I, and he did! It was a miracle that he walked on water like the rabbi! And then...he doubted. Doubted what I wonder? Traditionally we have seen he doubted Jesus' power. Possibly, but Jesus was still standing on the water. Did Peter doubted himself, or maybe better his capacity to be empowered by Jesus? Does Jesus response "why did you doubt?" (14:31) mean "why did you doubt I could empower you to be like me?" I think so.
That is a crucial message for the talmid/student/follower of today. We must believe that Jesus calls us to be disciples because he knows he can so instruct, empower, and fill us with his Spirit that we can be like him (at least in our actions). We must believe in ourselves! Otherwise we will doubt that he can use us and as a result we will not be like him. This my friend, is Faith. Now why in the world would we hide this under a bushel?
Yes Sister and at the same time we must be careful to understand truth over error. For error brings bondage and truth sets free
So if I get proud and or boastful and might then I need to be humbled as Paul talked this truth in 2 Cor 7

Yeshua is above the nations and peoples, the water. They may rage, but He will always be superior to them. We do the same allegorically when we look to Him, ignoring the raging of the peoples and nations.

When Peter walked on the water, he was looking at Yeshua, but when his attention was taken by the stormy waters, he took his focus off of Yeshua and was left to his on devices, none.

We are helpless when we take our eyes off of Yeshua.

Uh, let's see, would that be a sin?

1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Does it transgress the Law?

Yep, it is sin.
and to him/her if it is sin it is sin to him/her so do not destroy anyone other that God has died for. If it is not sin to you, keep it to yuorself, and do not flaunt I do not while you do or visa versa, you think?

If Christ came today as a humble carpenter, He would be crucified all over again.
Yep, the difference in and of either self-works or God's works by faith in being led by God in love to all

Do you really think people will get to heaven having a lazy attitude? Doing whatever they want, living as a worlding, living a life of sin?
Only those that:
Hebrews 2:3
how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

That is true, it always comes down to that. Why do they hate something that God says is good?
why do people hate that if I consider everyday alike as a sabbath rest to me by God through Son? For the is also in Romans 14 and I give God raise and glory, am I to be left alone and fully convinced as the same for those that keep the original Sabbath day, And in Exodus their is the mention of the first day as well when the Hebrews were being delivered, holding the seventh day and first day as Holy, whats up with that?

if at first you don't succeed try and try again
Just don't give up, committing all ones ways to the Lord and the Lord straightens out our paths, don't give up on the Lord, rather self efforts, seeking God in trust toi do by love what we as human can't
[h=1]1 Corinthians 13:4-7Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)[/h] [SUP]4 [/SUP]Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, [SUP]5 [/SUP]doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; [SUP]6 [/SUP]rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; [SUP]7 [/SUP]beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

The above is what God imputes into us and we do as led, while others won't necessarily see what we see to do or not do. All accordingly to God plot, plan for to save us all by us loving all

Beware of the law takers
The law takers are the ones who think because Jesus was not under any law they to think that there not under any law, when a person thinks there not under any law some of them persons think there above the law.

when a person thinks he is above the law he is like this scripture, 2 Thessalonians 2 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

But paul whos writings take up quite alot of the bible says no, he says he is under the law of Jesus christ who is God and then he say he is not free from the law of God . why does he say this hmm,, if paul says he is not under any law then he could fall in to the lawlessness of man and this teaching would be wrong, because as we know the man of lawlessness ends up behaving as if he was God. shouting at people then saying who is saved, who is not, the man of lawlessness judges his fellow brother and sister to harshly and if your not wise and not up on the teachings of the law you to could start to decide who is saved and who is not. The only person who said he was not under any law was Jesus, because Jesus is God and Only God is above the law, This is why paul quite clearly states that he is under the law of Christ. 1 cor 9:21though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ,

the man with out law will condemn some one to hell in stead of looking to save, the man of lawlessness will crucify his brother and sisters to hell over and over , The man of lawlessness does not care for people feelings in stead he debates the law and at every opportunity the man of lawlessness when he sees a fault in some one instead of praying or helping he attacks and brings that person down.

The man of lawlessness is a law unto them selves ,,mean hearted and deluded. 2 Thessalonians 11For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,12in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness. yup a man who is wicked will also be a drama boy will also attack your friends and do everything he can to have you hating and cursing in no time at all,, just like him. God likes a quiet person.
1
3:4
4but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.5For in this way in former times the holy women also, who hoped in God.

But also i would like to add to this that the man of lawlessness is the man who turns nasty and evil when the law of God that is written in his heart convicts him.

The man who examines himself when the law that is written in his hearts convicts him and looks to share his conviction with others is the man of the perfect law. this is the law of liberty

Gotta wonder how their kids turn out. You know, being raised without rules.
I was raised and was a spoiled brat, yet my parents had and kept Faith, it took many years to see further down the road by Faith and the tragedies I have been through, Amazing to me Father never left me as I did many wrongs. It was God's kindness and God's kindness to this very day, that taught me to say no to not loving even my neighbor that does not love me. I see today I love in response to God's unfathomable love to all by Son

No trick! I want to know how you (or others) think... How this works in practice... So, in the passage, Jesus says others are doing this... Is he saying it's OK, or just that they are already doing it? Is every good activity allowable on the sabbath? Grace and peace!
All things today are permissible, not all things are beneficial
So you get to decide what is beneficial for you between God and you, This is for all. If it is sin to you, then to you it is sin?
I am a man the same as you and no one special, the same as mankind.
The only specialty is God just love you and all

So if we do away with the rules, they don't break them.
They wouldn't know and get burned the same as a child when puts hand on hot stove, learns hard way if does, yet their is the parent right there to teach and save them from doing harm to the self, right?

Ecclesiastes, there is a time for everything, so discernement from Daddy important at least to me

Yes, Brother He DID FULFILL the Law and the Prophets............and then He gave us the Commandments we are to obey......or did He lie? I'm going with what He said........... :)
would that be by Faith you are saved? By pleading for Mercy when you know what you deserve?

Cool... Does everyone who understands come to the same conclusion about what's ok/not ok on sabbath? Does it vary with each person and situation? Grace and peace!
We are not all Baptized with the same walk to do as all others, remember those that wanted Christ's Baptism? And said okay, do you know what you are asking? was it peter hung on the cross upside down? stayed with the Faith though did he not? yet never at first birth did he?he learned to trust to the death you think?

I'm curious..can anyone point out one place where Jesus broke God's law? Not talking about added rabbinic law, please.

anyone?

Was Jesus a law keeper?
Jesus to begin with was born perfect a life giving-Spirit to give to us by Father at his resurrected life for us in Spirit and truth in love to all
Did he not say that to Nicodemus, that we are to be born again?
And is christ the only one to this very day that was and is ever perfect in pleasing Father from Adam on?
Is or has God been pleased in any other flesh that Son's? will God be?

Actually not the keeper the giver, where today, I worship at Christ's feet, a bond servant by the free choice he gave me to choose and this I chose, it is finished in me what Christ finished for me and all who will believe Christ first and foremost over all others

Exodus 20:6 KJV
(6) And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

John 14:15 KJV
(15) If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Love per 1 cor 13:4-7, how you doing? I did no on those verses and ask for God's imputation of these and God did it?
