I don't know how it tastes... but there is apparently yogurt without lactose
Yogurt + added taste + freezer = yum
I found out I became allergic to clams the hard way. I ate them and got violently sick half an hour later. I didn't put two and two together, so a year later, I ate them and got violently sick. I still like clams, when I think about how they taste, but just thinking "clams" makes my stomach flip.

Same problem with yogurt. When I think of it, I remember the yummy taste but the very sick afterward. (I'm not allergic to yogurt, like I am clams, so just very sick.)

I also can't eat black popcorn, because I caught a stomach flu right after eating some. Fortunately, black popcorn (the kernels are black) is very rare, and any other kind of popcorn doesn't have that association.

You know, I thought that too. So, I cut the sugar down by half. Nope. Not good. =(
Sooo, somewhere in you is some kind of understanding of what "too much sugar" means? Interesting.

That's what I tried to tell Mom but she didn't let me have enough sugar. She made me stop after six heaping tablespoons. It was just solidifying.

What's up with that? Think it had anything to do with the recent bill for my cavities at 14?

maaaayybe

idk, i grew up in a family of black, no sugar coffee drinkers, so that's how i like it.

one of our girls has scaled the sugar waaaaaaaaay back to the point it's pourable again.
i suggested making a simple syrup so it wouldn't be gritty?

Try a cup of sugar with 2 tablespoons of coffee, and tell me that's not better than just coffee. lol

I feel less of a man cause I use the flavored creamer. I like it light and sweet!

i think it's the ratio of sugar to (unsweetened) cocoa powder that counts. :)

i laughed so hard when i read your post!
lol... That's too funny. :D I did cut down the cocoa powder too since I cut down the sugar. Still wasn't as good as the original recipe. :D

Two phrases make no sense to me:
"Too much sugar."
"Too much chocolate."

But, in the last minute of thinking over this recipe I am wondering about walnuts and raisins in it.

Peanut butter! Brilliant!
Oh No! Don't ruin it with raisins! But, yes add walnuts. :D I'm even willing to try the peanut butter thing.

10 months out of the year, my hubby would be thinking the same thing. (He's nice, so wouldn't TELL you you're less of a man, of course. lol) But then pumpkin pie spices in coffee is good at the end of October through Thanksgiving. And using a cinnamon stick as a stirrer during the Christmas season are his sweeteners.

(Poor guy. He has a wife determined to get him to like the very sweet creams just because I want to see if coffee tastes good like that. But he is strong and hasn't fallen for it yet. Manly man. lol)

Splenda. Honest. The measurements and taste are the same as sugar, but the calorie count and glucose is much, much lower. Guilt-free sugar! The only thing it can't do that sugar can do is caramelize.

Hehe
For ordinary coffee I can't stand sugar, even though I have a sweet tooth
... but I do like lattes / moccas (normally I have them "double" though)

the reason you add milk is to cool it off so you can drink it right away... right?
