Apparently he wants me to claim I'm dating this one girl I don't know and that I let her granddaughter stay with me during the week.

If I do this, my house will qualify for State funding and have new siding, windows, and other repairs covered.

The only other way for the home to receive such financial assistance is if I, in my landlord's words, were to move out.

I've been here 7 years and I don't feel at all comfortable making this false claim through the State.

Anyone have some suggestions on what to say or do for tonight?

It has me worried.

Record the conversation. Get him to admit to what he's doing. Blackmail and fraud. That'll have an effect.

Gotta agree with this. Any smartphone can record audio, and nobody notices a smartphone lying about these days.

For Android, ASR audio recorder is good, reliable, simple to use and free. For iphone... I have no idea, I don't use ijunk. :p I'm sure there are some freeware audio recorders for iphone.

I wanted to respond to mj007. I've always liked many of his posts.

There was a stupid post in there about having the nuts in your foxhole during an apocalyptic war. Aside from the ridiculousness, the cajoling for comprising principles for rabidness in supporters of a cause is funny.

I was trying to think of a certain song and just couldn't remember it, but I knew that I had posted it on this site, so I went to the thread.. I looked through like 40 pages(when you have to know, you have to know) before I realized I could search my name/posts -_-. I have now bookmarked it on YouTube lol.

Thanks for the sound advice and directions in regards to my landlord everyone. :eek:

I ended up being a coward and postponed the meeting here at my house earlier tonight.

When he stops by soon to try and do this, I'll have a hidden camera to record whatever he is trying to use me for.

I did speak with the mayor's office and I also left a message with my local housing commission.

I don't see anything good coming from next week though, so if anyone has an extra prayer, I could use a little one. ♥

I have an online friend from Europe. He often likes to share European bands and musicians with me. In fact just yesterday he shared a bass guitarist with me that I really liked. But of course, being from nations who speak languages that I cant even make sense of, I almost always forget their names and cant find them later on without his help : p

I should start like keeping a journal for every group who have a name that I cant pronounce just so I can look them up again in the future, haha.

Must have been from France or Spain, only European countries I can think of where they wouldn't sing in English, unless it was an old song. :p

Did the housing commission give you any advice on how to handle the situation? Glad you are not giving in.

That would help lol. The length of my bookmarks list is ridiculous because I know I won't remember so many songs/bands. -_-
