Exactly!
God commands His people to kill, to wipe out entire nations.
My point is, that does not make the bible evil.
Nor does it mean Christians today go about killing (well, some do, but not Christianity as a whole)
So why do people assume all Muslims do because THEIR book has such parts in it when they don't assume Christians do?
If you were to take verses of the OT out of context surely we would look just like what people think of Islam no?

No,people have a misunderstanding of the Quran. The Quran and the Hadith taken together talk more of jihad, killing and violence than it talks of anything else. These "holy books" do not teach Muslims how to be better people, how to treat their neighbors as the Bible teaches us. No the majority of these books talk about jihad, the infidel and violence. And the violence and jihad is future tense, where as the Bible speaks of wars that happened and God bringing justice against tribes that attacked the Jews, the Quran talks of future jihad, killing and violence. The Bible does not. There is no comparison and this is the problem,Christians dont know these things and think Islam is comparable to the Bible, and it is not,not in any way.
