I am offended. But not at you guys. People are so annoying at times. I just want to throw something at them.

I go to bed. It normally helps. Sleep the trouble away. It is only 8. So what. My bed is my castle. (and my two dogs are guardning me. )

Wait, what? I thought zero and I were cool now. The last miscommunication was cleared up a while ago. Did I miss something?

I probably did miss something. I'm not very good on picking up social cues. In the chat room, "Wait, what?" has become my callsign...
We're cool. I just couldn't help but notice the irony of this thread.... and also can't help but feel that this thread was at least partly about me. I tried to ignore it for some time and hoped it would disappear and move onto page two, but no... it just keeps re-emerging at the top of the forum.

Might I suggest that you two place each other on ignore? I honestly have no idea who started your little feud but I can assure you both that the rest of the community is getting really tired of watching you guys snip at each other.
I've tried putting people on ignore before but then I can't resist seeing what they posted because it sometimes still gives me the option of clicking to see it, and if they are the last to post in a thread I still see their name and avatar on the main page.

I don't have ice cream, but I know where to get it. Have you tried the Magnum bars? Not quite as decadent as the commercials claim, but not half bad.
I am surmising that the chocolate in Magnum ice cream bars is dark with a high cocoa content. I love chocolate too but right now it is becoming cloying and I may be trending towards Popsicle's for my frozen confectionary treats.

Sleep is often a form of escape for me as well.

It's all good, maybe I misunderstood what I was reading a page back.

Seriously, this is what it feels like to be on this forum these days. I know it is currently fashionable to actively look for reasons to be offended, but do we have to bring it into the forum? It's starting to feel like BDF in EVERY forum these days. No matter what a person posts, there is a real chance somebody will be offended by it.

And Heaven help anybody who starts a new thread these days. Back in the day you could have a neat idea, start a thread about it and let it run. These days you have to baby-sit a new thread because it will probably get derailed by a bitter argument - usually in the first page.

Please, could we all try to just relax and enjoy christian fellowship here? Just for a change, just to see what it's like?
How did you do all of those multi-quotes.>I tried to multi-quote but it only worked for me if the quotes were on the same page.

Uh... how do you do multi-quotes these days? Only way I can figure is to "REPLY" one, copy it, "REPLY" the second one and paste the first one into the second.

EDIT: Okay, I'm not the only one who is wondering.

tourist: I didn't actually do multi-quotes. All those quotes were fictional, to illustrate the point. I typed all the fictional people's statements with quote tags around them.

Same here. If all else fails, you can manually copy and paste someone's post into the reply box... You have to quote them, then copy their quote in the reply box.... Then go to the other page, quote the second person, then paste the first person's quote into the reply box.. (tedious, but effective)

Thanks Zero, I will try that. I missed the old system as it was so easy to do.

Yes the multi-quote button was very handy. I'm hoping Oncefallen knows how to get the same effect on the new forum. The only way I can multi-quote these days is, yes, tedious.

It is especially tedious on a phone. >.>

Unfortunately Zero has it down. There is no other way that I'm aware of. My assumption is that this platform doesn't have the capability.

Haters are going to hate. Bitterness hardens hearts. Jesus gave us Grace to forgive us of our sins...He also left us with two Commandments...love me and love one another.
Perhaps this thread is a reminder to examine ourselves and our hearts towards one another. We need to let His light shine for all to see. None of us are perfect and we all go through our daily trials...but each and everyday we have the opportunity to uplift one another, in turn bringing joy to our own lives.
I'm not sure about y'all, but I need all the joy I can get in this sad world.
