Amos 9 is echoed in Revelation 21 and 22 when John speaks about New Jerusalem
Amos 9 speaks of the new Jerusalem? Where the Christian will spend eternity?
What does this have to do with God bringing the exiles back to their land and rebuilding the broken walls of their cities?
And Israel being planted in their own land never to be uprooted again?
This has already happened, so has the new Jerusalem appeared already?
Isaiah 49 and Zech 10 was fulfilled when National Israel was established in 1949 or it could be in Revelations too?
So you believe that the Israelites return to their OT homeland was a fulfilling of OT prophecy. Well we agree on that.
But how can the exiles returning in Isiaih 49 have to do with 1948, but when Amos 9 speaks of the exiles returning it is to do with the new Jerusalem where we as Christians will spend eternity?
Zech 8 is only for those who remember God. what message does Zech end his book?
The quote from Zech 8 was
In those days ten men from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say
'Let us go with you because we have heard that God is with you
So I do not understand your answer in relation to this
Zechariah 14
The Nations Worship the King
16 And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 17 And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, on them there will be no rain. 18 If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which the LORD strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. 19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.
20 In that day “HOLINESS TO THE LORD” shall be engraved on the bells of the horses. The pots in the LORD’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar. 21 Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holiness to the LORD of hosts.[d] Everyone who sacrifices shall come and take them and cook in them. In that day there shall no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.
now who do you think will claim to be the LORD to those who do not accept Jesus as Lord and Messiah? what does the NEW Testament say of this person?
2 Thessalonians 2:1-6 (New King James Version)
1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ[a] had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God[c] in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time.
