that is a vague question, want do you really need answered? we all know who Jesus is and what he accomplished. ill answer anyways;
The Son is Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, who said of Himself:
I and my Father are one. (John 10:30)
And:
He that hath seen me hath seen the Father. (John 14:9)
As for what His death accomplished, Jesus answered that Himself better than anyone else ever could:
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
His death was the greatest act of love in all of history. Full forgiveness. Full redemption. Complete restoration of our relationship with the Father. Nobody here has ever disputed that and nobody ever will.
in your question, the implication seems to be that because of what His death accomplished the commandments He gave us no longer matter. But Jesus Himself closed that door on the very night He went to the cross when He said:
If ye love me keep my commandments. (John 14:15)
His death did not contradict His commandments. It made it possible through the Holy Spirit for us to finally keep them from genuine love rather than fear. That was always the point. His sacrifice and His commandments were never in opposition. They were always part of the same perfect plan.
You're really missing the point. Jesus is our Sabbath rest. Not a day that is a mere shadow of His reality.

I will look into it you are not often wrong if ever. Can I be wrong sometimes, yes of course.
My disapointment with this sabbath person is the absolute deflecting and actually ignoring all scripture that indicates that Jesus is indeed our Sabbath by them.
I posted Hebrews 10 several times (2 last wk I believe and a few times in the past in regards to that fact) and it is not acknowledged or given any credence, yet, sabbath quotes Hebrews 8:10, will not put it in context and has no regard for any scripture that clearly illustrates Jesus is our Sabbath rest.
Dishonesty is not very useful at arriving at the truth. That is one reason this thread has reached 259 pages. I don't bother with sabbath anymore because of the above.
Asking for a command for gentiles to keep the Sabbath and being pointed to the Mosaic law is like asking about the great commission and being told about the exodus from Egypt. It is related but not an answer to the question asked.
How do YOU define the New Covenant? You are under more obligation than I am to explain yourself than I am since you are the one with heterodox views on the subject. Tell us everything an individual must do to be saved according to your belief system

This is an important verse and a very important verse for the Jews.
Mainly because the Jews were under the entire law and that is over 600 laws.
We note that Jesus came not to destroy the law but to fulfill the law!
Not one letter will pass from the law or the prophets until all the law is fulfilled.

Leviticus 20:10

This is one letter of the law, one iota, and remains in force until all the law is fulfilled.
Here we have Leviticus 20:10, one single law that has obviously been fulfilled.
Which obviously means that all the law is fulfilled because that one letter was fulfilled
Here is another single letter, one iota, of the law as an example, shown below.

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Remember the condition; until all the law is fulfilled.
You cannot have a letter of the law, one law, that has been fulfilled until all the law is fulfilled.
It is remarkable that legalists constantly post (Matthew 5:17-18) which refutes legalism.
There is no Scripture that says Jesus is the Sabbath rest or the 4th commandment.

Lets look at the NC and test to how this theory works out if Jesus turned into the Sabbath

A date for Acts 18 would be less than 30 years.
Interesting in that this marker in Acts 18, helps to assemble a timing for Paul's travels, and in Greece.
The Jews were in covenant to obey the fourth commandment.
The Gentiles were never under the law so the Gentiles were never required, to rest on the sabbath day.
Matthews gospel chapter 24, pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the
Matthew 24, is not an accurate account of the end times and should be ignored.
Luke 21, is the correct account of the end times for Israel and not for the Gentiles.
Luke 21:23-24
Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days; for there will be great
distress upon the land and wrath to this people; and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be
led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times
of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
Those fleeing were the Jews and not the Gentiles.
I was speaking of the prophecy Jesus made that His people would be faithfully keeping the Sabbath for decades after the Cross Mat24:20 and this ties to His second coming. It was sandwiched between the destruction of Jerusalem 70AD approx 40 years after the Cross and to His Second Coming date unknow.
The point is Jesus never turned into the Sabbath, its a commandment for us, not Him. Why its one of the Ten Commandments.
This says nothing about Gentiles were not keeping the Sabbath. The LORD made the invite to everyone Isa56:6 said the Sabbath was made for man, not Jew. We can always reject God's blessings Isa56:2 and sanctification Eze20:12, He won't force it on anyone, but I am not sure what we are without it. Psa 37:22
Acts 15, is where the Gentiles are given instruction on what to do as Christians.
The Gentiles are told to avoid sexual immorality and nothing about the ten commandments.

But some of the sect of the Pharisees who had believed stood up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise
them and to direct them to observe the Law of Moses.
The answer is given in Acts 15:19-20 shown below.
Therefore it is my judgment that we do not trouble those who are turning to God from among the Gentiles,
but that we write to them that they abstain from things contaminated by idols and from sexual immorality
and from what is strangled and from blood.
Lets check the scripture elsewhere to see if the commandment concerning sexual immorality, was taught
by Paul.
1 Thessalonians 4:1-3
Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction
as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do walk), that you excel still more. For you
know what commandments we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, your
sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality.
Simple gospel and a simple commandment.

As for the word fultil have a look in the proper context and find out what it means I have explained this also many times, even recently a few post above probably.
The line "pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath
Was Jesus talking about the Jews in AD 70; the desolation of the temple and Jerusalem.
The Jews were told to flee and hope it's not on a sabbath in Luke 21.
But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near. Then those who
are in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those who are in the midst of the city must leave, and those who
are in the country must not enter the city; because these are days of vengeance, so that all things which are
written will be fulfilled. Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days;
for there will be great distress upon the land and wrath to this people; and they will fall by the edge of the sword,
and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until
the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
That's what Jesus was talking about the wrath of God upon Israel.
