Nice to see you on the right side of this one.See? You're stuck in the old testament as if Jesus is not your Sabbath rest. He isn't to you, is He?
I'm sticking with Lord Jesus and won't further discuss this with you or anyone else.

that is a vague question, want do you really need answered? we all know who Jesus is and what he accomplished. ill answer anyways;Who was the Son and what do you think His death accomplished?
Nice to see you on the right side of this one.
that is a vague question, want do you really need answered? we all know who Jesus is and what he accomplished. ill answer anyways;
The Son is Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, who said of Himself:
I and my Father are one. (John 10:30)
And:
He that hath seen me hath seen the Father. (John 14:9)
As for what His death accomplished, Jesus answered that Himself better than anyone else ever could:
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
His death was the greatest act of love in all of history. Full forgiveness. Full redemption. Complete restoration of our relationship with the Father. Nobody here has ever disputed that and nobody ever will.
in your question, the implication seems to be that because of what His death accomplished the commandments He gave us no longer matter. But Jesus Himself closed that door on the very night He went to the cross when He said:
If ye love me keep my commandments. (John 14:15)
His death did not contradict His commandments. It made it possible through the Holy Spirit for us to finally keep them from genuine love rather than fear. That was always the point. His sacrifice and His commandments were never in opposition. They were always part of the same perfect plan.
I will look into it you are not often wrong if ever. Can I be wrong sometimes, yes of course. You're really missing the point. Jesus is our Sabbath rest. Not a day that is a mere shadow of His reality.

God first always!

Asking for a command for gentiles to keep the Sabbath and being pointed to the Mosaic law is like asking about the great commission and being told about the exodus from Egypt. It is related but not an answer to the question asked.i replied clearly
How do YOU define the New Covenant? You are under more obligation than I am to explain yourself than I am since you are the one with heterodox views on the subject. Tell us everything an individual must do to be saved according to your belief systemprove it show us the verses, (there is none except the 4 items in acts 15, just want to save you time) if you find a verse let me know.
Also define the new covenant what is it according to scripture?
How do YOU define the New Covenant? You are under more obligation than I am to explain yourself than I am since you are the one with heterodox views on the subject. Tell us everything an individual must do to be saved according to your belief system
Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets. I am not come to destroy but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you till heaven and earth pass away one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled. (Matthew 5:17-18)
Not forty years for starters. There is no Scripture that says Jesus is the Sabbath rest or the 4th commandment.
According to Christ the Sabbath is something man does
Isa56:1Thus saith the LORD
Isa 56:2 Blessed is the man who does this,
And the son of man who lays hold on it;
Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
And keeps his hand from doing any evil.
God never gave Himself a commandment to keep, the Sabbath is something man does- keeps the Sabbath day holy, the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD. Exo20:8-11 The Sabbath is made for man, not Jesus, this teaching is not found in our Bibles and goes against the very words of Jesus Himself!
Lets look at the NC and test to how this theory works out if Jesus turned into the Sabbath
Acts 13:42 So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the nextSabbath(Jesus)
On the nextSabbath(Jesus) almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.
Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue everySabbath(Jesus), and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.
Jesus speaking about 40 years after the Cross, not something He ever taught that He is the Sabbath, its still something man does.
Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on thesabbath(Jesus)day
It still something man does, just as God commanded- because there is no one greater than He to change a jot or tittle when He said He would not. Mat5:18-19 This is exactly why we are told not to add to God's Word, because we are taking the pure Truth of His word and making it about what works for us. We are only sanctified by God's Truth John17:17 and the Sabbath is the sign of His sanctification Eze20:12 So if God can't tell us how to keep His own commandments and who they are for, than what is that really saying?
The Jews were in covenant to obey the fourth commandment. There is no Scripture that says Jesus is the Sabbath rest or the 4th commandment.

I was speaking of the prophecy Jesus made that His people would be faithfully keeping the Sabbath for decades after the Cross Mat24:20 and this ties to His second coming. It was sandwiched between the destruction of Jerusalem 70AD approx 40 years after the Cross and to His Second Coming date unknow. Not forty years for starters.
The events in Acts 18, focusing on Paul’s ministry in Corinth, are dated to approximately AD 50–52. A key
anchor point is the tenure of Gallio as proconsul of Achaia (Acts 18:12), which historical evidence, including
the Delphi Inscription, places around July, AD 51.
This period is widely recognized by scholars as one of the most accurate chronological markers in the Book of Acts, often called the "Gallio Inscription" marker. (Google)
- Arrival in Corinth: Paul likely arrived in Corinth around AD 50, following the expulsion of Jews from Rome by Emperor Claudius, which occurred around AD 49-50.
- Duration: Paul stayed in Corinth for 18 months, as mentioned in Acts 18:11.
- Trial before Gallio: The legal proceedings initiated against Paul in Corinth happened during Gallio’s term, typically cited as the summer of AD 51.
- Departure: Paul left Corinth to return to Antioch and later began his third missionary journey, placing the end of the chapter and the start of the next journey around AD 53.

A date for Acts 18 would be less than 30 years.
Interesting in that this marker in Acts 18, helps to assemble a timing for Paul's travels, and in Greece.
This says nothing about Gentiles were not keeping the Sabbath. The LORD made the invite to everyone Isa56:6 said the Sabbath was made for man, not Jew. We can always reject God's blessings Isa56:2 and sanctification Eze20:12, He won't force it on anyone, but I am not sure what we are without it. Psa 37:22The Jews were in covenant to obey the fourth commandment.
The Gentiles were never under the law so the Gentiles were never required, to rest on the sabbath day.
Matthews gospel chapter 24, pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on thesabbath(Jesus)day.
Matthew 24, is not an accurate account of the end times and should be ignored.
Luke 21, is the correct account of the end times for Israel and not for the Gentiles.
Luke 21:23-24
Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days; for there will be great
distress upon the land and wrath to this people; and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be
led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times
of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
Those fleeing were the Jews and not the Gentiles.
Acts 15, is where the Gentiles are given instruction on what to do as Christians. Psa 37:22
first the covenant is defined by God as the ten commandmentsHow do YOU define the New Covenant? You are under more obligation than I am to explain yourself than I am since you are the one with heterodox views on the subject. Tell us everything an individual must do to be saved according to your belief system
we have discussed all this before and I explained all of this before in great detail, and No I am not a legalist far from it.The verse you often quote, vassal.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets. I am not come to destroy but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you till heaven and earth pass away one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass
from the law till all be fulfilled. (Matthew 5:17-18)
This is an important verse and a very important verse for the Jews.
Mainly because the Jews were under the entire law and that is over 600 laws.
We note that Jesus came not to destroy the law but to fulfill the law!
Not one letter will pass from the law or the prophets until all the law is fulfilled.
Did everyone read the verse I just stated?
Here it is again.
Not one letter will pass from the law or the prophets until all the law is fulfilled.
Not one letter will pass or become obsolete until all the law is fulfilled.
Here is one letter of the law that has passed as an example, shown below.
Leviticus 20:10
If there is a man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, one who commits adultery with
his friend’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
This is one letter of the law, one iota, and remains in force until all the law is fulfilled.
Here we have Leviticus 20:10, one single law that has obviously been fulfilled.
Which obviously means that all the law is fulfilled because that one letter was fulfilled
Here is another single letter, one iota, of the law as an example, shown below.
Exodus 20:8
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Remember the condition; until all the law is fulfilled.
You cannot have a letter of the law, one law, that has been fulfilled until all the law is fulfilled.
It is remarkable that legalists constantly post (Matthew 5:17-18) which refutes legalism.
The line "pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbathThis says nothing about Gentiles were not keeping the Sabbath.
